Didn't see it. But the rational/logical explanation would probably be something like, ozone or smoke/exhaust. However, very little of anything is rational or logical these days.

I didn’t see it, either, but I also haven’t heard anyone else talk about it. People are talking about the book of Revelations and the end times a lot these days, so hopefully it’s not that. 

I looked it up on the news and they’re pointing to the wildfires out west. Could be. The smoke from the wildfires has reached New York, so that’s possible. ?

I saw it vividly! I was driving to town in the morning, 7:15 or so. There was a huge red orb... I did not think it was the sun. The thought I had was "blood moon" and "why don't I know about this, seeing as I'm an astrologer?"

I checked myself, like I am a faulty Capricorn or something.  It was the day before the full moon so I thought this was what I was seeing but it was weird because it was completely round.  It should not be that way...this was not the full moon

Well.. it was strange so I asked myself if it could be the sun, feeling like a moron. Who is confused about the sun? I actually lifted my visor and contorted myself to look out up and see it I could find the sun in the sky...

I could not but I still did not think the red ball was the sun! My next question what how is it, the sun has risen and it's overhead... but I can still see this moon that looks full though I know it's not.  And why is it red, anyway? Blood red.

I thought about pulling over and taking a pic. Clearly, I should have but I was on an errand.  I thought it must be normal evn though I'd never seen anything like it before in all my life.

Then tonight, I collided with people who also saw it and were talking about this. This is when I realized it was the sun.

As a last bit of weirdness, my mother loved Neil Diamond. Consequently, I'm aware of this song:

But it was "sun coming up" light, not darkness.

Blood moon, see? It was not giving out light. I could look at it, which also struck me. My eyes are light sensitive, so I noticed this as well.

I saw it! My daughter pointed it out one morning when the light was coming into the living room. I had kind of noticed it but figured I was just seeing things. The light was like a really dark orange at that point. It lasted all day and then the next as well and I remember thinking "I hope it goes back to normal!" Because it seemed not quite as bright as usual, kind of dim.
