Hi all! I’m curious - what synastry aspects do you think would cause a cat and mouse dynamic between two people? When I say cat and mouse, I mean when both people are really attracted to each other but for some reason one of them is not ready for a relationship and when that person is finally ready, the other one chooses to run.
I have posted before about a man that i have a weird solar return occurrences with and we did have that dynamic (to an extent we still do) - when I wanted a relationship he didn’t want one. However, once he decided that he is ready I was the one that was running away and so on for many years.
What i seem to notice is Mars/Venus in harsh aspect can cause a cat and mouse game between people. I would be happy to see your inputs.
I agree with your idea. Avoidance is another thing that comes to mind. The reason for the avoidance would be found in the charts.
@elsa Hi elsa. Yeah, definitely avoidance is one of the reasons. I would say though that fear could be another. Although, one might argue that avoidance and fear are correlated. Another thinks I would think it’s a reason is control - you did me wrong, I will pay you back , type of thing. So maybe it could be a mixture with Mars/Venus and Pluto. But as you said an individual chart should be considered. That guy for example has a venus and mars tightly squaring his Saturn, so there’s that.

That's a big clue. Too hard / scary / fear of rejection.
