Black Moon Lilith conjunct Sun in natal

Hi, Satsun.  Good question!  I've been similarly stymied by the lack of wider info about this, in particular the kind where observation - oneself, and others having the conjunction - plays.

I have the conjunction... but, like your friend, I have a "minor" aspect between sun & moon, as well as  venus in aspect to neptune(et al.)... so, how to discern what is what?

In particular, how to know whether neptune in my 1st house, aspecting my chart ruler, venus, along with so much else in my chart, draws the fire (projections, or, people wanting to see me as however they do). Maybe Lilith in the other venus-ruled sign, twinning my sun, stengthens that effect, for people who are uncomfortable with the notion of sexuality in women??  I should add, my views of relationships are "boring," as Taurus is often regarded, and conventional.  That is, as long as "obedience" isn't included in the definition - for me, partnership means a give-and-take between equals, in which the giving and taking shifts all the time (I mean, usually not 50-50 in any tiny moment, but over time, balances, more or less).

What are the sign and the house for the Sun in your friend's chart?

She has Sun in Virgo in 8th house.

In Equal House system the sun would be the ruler of 8th, but in Placidus Leo is intercepted, so I'm not sure what it rules.

She doesn't have an easy-going chart b/c Saturn is square her Neptune, Venus and Moon... + a few other bothersome aspects.

Agree with Libra that inconscious rebellion will probably have people running up the wrong paths, and not understanding why...

So it seems Lilith is a wild woman, but being unaware of this force and not being able to integrate it is unfortunate and a waste of a powerful thing.

Hello Satsun, Libra Noir and Poppy Smile

I have just joined elsaelsa and read this thread for the first time.

I was looking for info on Lilith because She is transiting on my natal Aquarian Sun right now. In 35 years of avid but amature practise in Astrology (I've been a professional musician all my life), I have never really looked at the meaning of Lilith.

I'm an astrologer with a lot of astronomical understanding of the solar system, including the apsidal precession of Moon's orbit around Earth, which is what makes Lilith's Zodiacal cycle 8 years and 10 months long.

So with transiting Lilith on my natal Sun I decided to do some research into the meaning of Lilith in the Chart and as a transiting point. This thread came up at the top of my google search and here I am!!

I have been amazed to read about the themes of sexuality and connection with the natural world. My relationships with my own sexuality and with Nature have both been writ large in my life for ALL of my life...

Like you, Libra Noir, I have Lilith natally in Libra. She is in my 5th House. My chart ruler, with Taurus on the ASC, is Venus in my 7th House, in Sagittarius. Lilith is at the midpoint of my Venus trine to Mars in Leo, thus making a sextile with both Venus and Mars. So, in my natal chart Lilith is strongly connected with Venus and Mars.

Venus, the planet that rules the sign my Lilith is in natally, is also in further strong connections all over my chart, trining not only Mars but also semi-squaring my Sun, sextiling my Saturn, and sitting at the focal point of a T-Square with my Jupiter/Pluto opposition, with the T-Square being in angular houses (4th, 10th & 7th). Furthermore, Venus was at Greatest Western Elongation on the day of my birth. GWE only happens once every 584 days, being a phenomenon of the Venus/Earth synodic cycle. It is why Venus is able to make the semi-sqaure with my Sun.

With so much Venus all over my chart, I have always attributed Venus with symbolising my wildness and my deeply spiritual connection with nature, and I have also thought my strong sexual nature was also to do with Venus. But now I'm looking very strongly at Lilith!

Libra Noir, when you said:

"When I meet someone in a sexual way, we are both equal in the eyes of God (maybe that's the Libra placement too)"

it just resonated so strongly with me! As did your statement:

"I look around me and inside of me for God, as opposed to looking up for Him. That's another thing I strive to fully own, is my own connection with Source/God/Spirit."

Very powerfully and eloquently expressed... thank you Smile

I am a 55 year old male and have been monogamous in a heterosexual marriage for 27 years. It is a deeply loving marriage that I envisage being in until death separates my from my wife but it is has also been a marriage without frequent sex. Especially since the birth of our son 22 years ago. We still make love but only a few times a year. Simply because my wife has very low libido and we have found ways to connect intimately and physically with frequent massages of each other and hugs all the time and lots of one to one verbal communication and exercising together etc.

But for me, I have always had a really strong sex drive. Always. Like, since I was four years old... I can remember five separate occasions BEFORE I reached puberty when I inititiated sexually explorative encounters with other children my age... neighbours, school friends, both girls and boys. Always in secretive one to one settings, and always in outdoor settings. No penetrative sex, but genital exploration and stimulation. I remember being scolded by my parents when they found out what I'd been up to, playing in the sandpit with the girl next door. She had told her parents who then told mine. I was 4 years of age.

Outdoors in the wild has always been my favourite setting for sex. As a teenager and as a young man, I went into the wilderness for extended periods, on countless overnight expeditions into the wilds of south-eastern Australia where I grew up and still live.

Anyway, I hope I'm not guilty of oversharing here... I better wrap this up. This is my first post, yet to be approved by the thread's administrator!!

But I would love to discuss Lilith more... And I'm so glad to have found something that seems to explain so much of my own story.

Glad to see this topic reemerge.

The current square between the Moon Nodes and the Black Moon /Chiron conjunction is very significant.

There is something about releasing and eliminating dimensions of the point opposite the Black Moon that is worth exploring. When that combines with the release of Saturn and Capricorn dynamics thru the South Node elimination -  some unknown and intense emotional emergence is on the way.....

I agree

Also with Lilith and Chiron in Aries at 4°, this in itself is significant

Whatever is releasing, eliminating may carry emotions through to the 4° Aries New Moon on March 24.

At that time Saturn will be at 0° Aquarius, bringing new energy
