Balancing my fixed grand cross

Apart from the doom and gloom that is typically associated with this, I read on some places that a grand cross can help a person have a lot of structure in their lives and that once you can reconcile the energies, there is a lot you can do with it since by definition you have a lot of one particular energy (in my case fixed).

So basically I have to integrate the energies of Scorpio, Aquarius, Taurus, and Leo. How do I go about doing that and how do i know I integrated an energy affectively? Especially with Leo, I think that's the one I have the most issues with since I have a weak sun and a lot hard aspects to my sun sign.

@elsa Thanks for reposting Annalisa's article. I've been thinking and experiencing a lot of what she describes: oppositions and learning balance. My Progressed Chart is a field of many oppositions! Reading "Living with a grand cross" I see how at this stage of life it is vital I give people the room and respect to be who they are. Only when I do can I find a place of acceptance and acknowledgement.

My Saturn-Mars-Pluto conjunction in the 7th and 8th Houses natally is calling loudly to me (the tyrant of Saturn and Mars) rises up in situations and my body fills with that heat. With Saturn and Pluto now direct I'm sensing that 'decoding' action you often refer to when you crack a hard nut ... funny my husband just collected a bag of freshly fallen Walnuts from the neighbor's, before we ran over them with his riding lawnmower. See how the Universe is giving me ways to hack my long hardened and fixed approach?!!

I'm not there yet, but get a good feeling I may be onto something positive. Something to work with in opposition for balance.

@mokihana I always saw oppositions as ways that the signs complement each other and balance each other out.
Because of that and how all of my planets are well distributed in each of the houses along with the kite formation that I have, I feel like I have a lot of potential for having this cross manifest in a healthy way even though I can say that it has caused a lot of problems for me. And despite having a very Piscean influence on my chart, because I also have a lot of earth and the cross giving me structure, I find myself rather grounded even though I am pretty in touch with my emotions and intuitive side.

I find it interesting on how each of these elements work together and I'm just trying to figure out my own life lol.

@confused-duck I'm glad to be alive to celebrate my 74th year come mid-November. "Progressed" to a place where oppositions can be appreciated after decades of experimentation and re-learning/unlearning and now recognizing how off I've been can now be a chance to course correct.

I'm just trying to figure out my own life is right !!

4 of Disks Power

@confused-duck This is a Tarot card I was thinking about recently which may be useful for grand cross aspects - it's 4 pentacles from the Thoth deck. Any of the number 4 cards in Tarot could be worth reflecting on in relation to a grand cross, which takes the shape of a square with 4 corners. Check out other decks for imagery. This image from the Thoth is so strong and beautiful, and is entitled 'Power'.

With a Scorpio Ascendent -  instead of asking about how and what you can balance within yourself - it might also be productive to ask about what facets of yourself need to be eliminated/ destroyed and how you can engage with that process.....
