Astrology is so foreign; yet I love it; & I’ve read the books. Still. I can’t get it. Y’all all sound like it’s 2nd nature. Is it a gift?

Is it like playing a piano, or art? You have it or you don’t. Or you do, with tons of work, yet it’s still a struggle?
Who taught y’all? Do your grandparents hand it down? Is it really a gift- like- an instrumental- singing- I’ve secretly studied it – ALOT. Own the Astrology for Dummies. Liz Green. I don’t see any classes anywhere. I live close to UNG. Y’all are always talking like some inside language. I want to learn Astrology- really bad. I dream about it – a lot. Rbird

I found astrology VERY hard to learn. Awful, really.
But there is a point where is begins to gel. Once that happens, you begin to gain ground, rapidly.

Red Book, I don’t understand the mechanics of it that much and I started having an interest 40 years ago !! I enjoy the psychology of it the most. It helps me understand peoples personalities and myself more.

I don’t see the transits play out until way after the fact.

I think it helps to have an interest in mathematics which I have little.

I am grateful for the people who have put their time and energy into it and willing to share their knowledge.

I’m convinced I have been into astrology for two lifetimes (including this one) already! And I am sure I am nowhere near a professional astrologer’s skill yet.

I’m sure that if I had a feeling of being called, I would rush towards it. But no, not this lifetime!

There’s lots of detail that goes with astrology. It’s something that takes practice, like riding a two-wheel bike!
