This is SO BIZARRE that you created this post! Today I had my headphones on, being thankful for them, and music and how it’s calmed me and gotten me through so many hard times. And I was asking myself (wonder if it’s in my chart), my husband has zero desire to listen or need music. I wouldn’t be who I am today without it.
Music has literally been my saving Grace.
I’m a fan of A-Z. I love it all. Depending on the atmospheric or situation.

I’ve suffered some tremendous depression from childhood.
When we can use or need music like some ppl need drugs, Is that in our charts?

I like all music, I love a good story inside a song that tends to support my emotions, or bring out a much needed cry. I love rock and roll, good beats, classical, and the piano boys Beethoven’s 5 secrets. I love it all.

@redbird A good cry, you said? I love that too, due to the Scorpio in me. You have Venus-Neptune conjunction in Scorpio if I am not mistaken! 12th house influence helps a lot, too, I have Neptune in the 12th in Capricorn.
I like many kinds of music, from Christmas carols and classical to the Grateful Dead...Could be explained by my Gemini Ascendant conjunct Uranus...
@gemini7 That's a great one, hahaha! Do you tend to listen to many different types of music in a day, switching from Classical to the Grateful Dead at the very next minute?
I like hair metal, classic rock, hardcore punk, punk, new wave, grunge, and alternative rock.
I have Scorpio ASC with Pluto in the 1st house and Moon conjunct Venus in Aquarius in the 3rd house.
@purplestargirl I like how we both have Moon and Venus in fixed signs (my Venus is in Leo and it squares my Moon). As for the Scorpio Asc, I'm becoming surer and surer that Scorpio is involved in metal. Furthermore, with all that fixed energy, I assume that your tastes haven't changed in a long time?
You are correct in my tastes not changing. I believe that punk rock is associated with Aquarius and Uranus, which accounts for my love of that genre and my Moon and Venus square my ASC.
@purplestargirl Yep. My NN in Aqua 1st house loves punk and the outfits. I miss dressing like that!
I have NN in Aquarius too and I like the style too. And tattoos and piercings.

I love all different kinds of music. From Opera to Bluegrass and I can find Thrash metal that I like. But my favorite is music from the 60s, 70s, 80s, & Enigma's music. I love Gregorian Chant music as well.
As for the Astrology? I always thought it was my Venus, Jupiter, & Neptune at the top of my chart. I can easily trance out to music and it refreshes my soul to listen to it.
@canscocappy They are all in Scorpio and Venus is conjunct Jupiter. Neptune isn't conjuncting them, it conjuncts my Sag Midheaven.
@canscocappy Yes, it does. I love music that grabs your attention and has a bit of darkness to it. O Fortuna is one of my favorite pieces of music. Intensity is what I'm after.
But on that flipside, I love Bluegrass Gospel music and Bluegrass in general. My dad plays it and my father in law played/sang it. A friend used to play but hasn't in ages.
My husband is even more eclectic than me with music. His playlist has nearly everything in it. Lol. He is a Capricorn with Venus in Capricorn and Cancer Rising. His Jupiter is in Cancer behind his AC in the 12th.
@canscocappy He listens to old stuff and new stuff from Classical to Punk, etc. He finds things that I have never heard of, but I end up liking too. ?
