What astro patterns have you observed for getting a new job or having some kind of career shift?

Classically, transits through the work houses and to the MC/IC show these types of shifts, particularly involving slower moving planets

But a chart can reveal a lot of detailed info about any given situation, and other houses and planets will almost certainly be involved depending on the given situation/person.

Yes this is what I was alluding to (outside of the traditional work houses), was wondering if anyone observed any other interesting happenings when having a job or career breakthrough

@belladonna it depends on the chart of the individual. When someone becomes a priest, is it a 9th house thing or a 10th house thing? Both. What about when someone becomes a surgeon or a psychologist? Or a doctor doing their residency? Is that the beginning of their career or are they still learning? Jupiter, Mars, Saturn, Uranus? Every planet will show something. That’s what I meant by detail, how the individual experience fits into this archetypal system. Are the job/career changes merely incidental to bigger life changes? In which case, make sure to check the progressed chart, particularly when planets or angles change signs, or retrograde planets turn direct (or the opposite).

@belladonna to be more explicit about the text you quoted, the implication was that it’s both, and the nitty gritty depends on the chart of the individual.
