I wonder how the Coronavirus is affecting people’s sex lives, at least in America!

I have been wondering the same, and also wondering about the impact on sex workers.

I imagine pretty much the same is playing out in the (non-monogamous) sex arena as in the rest of life: some people understand the risks and are behaving accordingly, others think it’s all a hoax, or “I don’t have it” or [insert other dismissive reasoning or lack thereof] or are addicted and simply carrying on as usual or trying to hold back but not quite succeeding.

As for people in living-together relationships, everything I’m reading online seems to indicates that many are having a hard time being cooped up together, so… probably not a whole lot of hanky panky going on or else lots of make up sex? 😀

Increased. It’s better. Because, what else is there to do when you are locked up in the house together? I think we actually found each other again. Also, he is still working from home but there is no gas or lunch expense anymore. There was no shopping except groceries and supplies. So, we have had more sex and more money.

I call that a win… I mean, if you have to find some light in it all.

The media thinks the coronavirus is going to kill astrology??

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

https://www.nytimes.com/2020/0…..tions.html

Apparently, you astrologers were so busy telling everyone how amaze-balls 2020 was going to be, you missed the Corona comet sailing our way to crash our planet.  At least, that’s their version of the story.

Sorry, New York Times: you missed the part where astrologers have had their eye on that scary Saturn-Pluto in Capricorn conjunction FOR YEARS.

They’re always looking for ways to dismiss astrology. Of course if they look, they’ll find it.

Today I learned that two workers at the chicken plant that my housemate works at have died of COVID-19. They were both 60, so about the same age as him. There are dozens of others there who have been infected.

He has been working much longer shifts lately because so many workers are either out sick, or too scared to come in and be exposed on a daily basis.

Lord have mercy.

My housemate that works at the chicken plant no longer gets hazard pay, so I guess that’s a good sign that the numbers are improving.

I think my hazard pay came to an end at the end of May too, not sure, nobody tells us anything. I’ll find out when my pay is posted.

One of my co-workers suggested that their excuse, er I mean, reason, is/will be that now that things are re-opening, everybody else will be in an equally hazardous situation. I disagree, but what the hey. I have no say.

So, whatever.

A handful of Georgia hospitals, including my local one, are getting a fresh shipment of Remdesivir. 🙂

https://www.nghs.com/fullpanel…..1Uj2EJBG9c

They do this based on the number of COVID patients on ventilators and ECMO. At this time 44% of the ventilators are in use at my local hospital. The number of COVID patients in hospital was dropping after the reopening of the state started nearly three weeks ago. Now some of the numbers are creeping back up (not really surprising). So the remdesivir is good news, imo.

Oh dear….China is going into lockdown AGAIN.

According to the New York Post, they are seizing PPE to prepare for the second wave, but I’m not sure if NYP is a tabloid site or a legit one.

I don’t see much on that horary.

There are things I believe (with sources) on this area going in both directions. Some that is utterly terrifying and some what says it is largely pushing a narrative for political reasons. I do think it was the right thing to lock down just on the potential the virus is as deadly as some of its earlier strains!

Generally it’s one of the best things that has happened to me. I’m being paid for doing nothing. I got paid today! Even though bloodsugars CONTINUES to be a problem and I’m going to have to lay down a serious schedule for that, which will control a lot of my day. It is still awesome!

What else is there to say? I believe Trump doesn’t want anything to do with it, especially as it’s hurting the economy that is going to get him elected. So he sprayed HCQ in the air (which works extraordinarily well!) when he was doing those jet flyby’s over states that had massive vapour trails. Also, the sunlight has a massive effect on it. Doesn’t it decrease the half life of the virus form something like several hours down to a few minutes?

We’ll see how things develop!

Yesterday, I read how they have derived (through testing anti-bodies) a more accurate case rate in New York. Because a lot more people (asymptomatic), have had covid than originally thought, the fatality rate is actually lower than previously estimated. They are still in the process of analysing the new data and providing info. I am relieved to hear a small piece of good news.

Joke’s on them. Pluto will be in Aquarius, and astrology might become ‘hot’!
