What do you think? The list makes sense to me. Gemini is distracted. They’re on the phone for sure possibly on two phones while flipping through a book.

Taurus is slow. I have Mars conjunct Mercury. I can tell when I am driving behind a Taurus because they just won’t GO.

Pisces is spaced. Virgo is worried and distracted like Gemini…

As to the bottom of the list, Capricorn. It’s a cautious sign. Capricorn doesn’t want to be pulled over. Scorpio, I don’t know. Someone on the board suggested their spider senses might be credited.

Sagittarius is a natural traveler. It’s no surprise they can navigate traffic, plus the sign is Jupiter-ruled. This offers some protection. And Libra?

Well Libra is polite! Libra makes things peaceful and naturally adjusts to balance others…

I have Mars conjunct Mercury in Libra. I think I am a great driver, however, I am the only one who thinks so.

With Mars Mercury in Libra I get there as fast as I can while still driving gracefully. I think (Mercury) I make art (Venus/Libra) or aggressive driving (Mars Mercury).

Are you a good driver? Tell us.

  1. Hah! I was just thinking yesterday that I should be a race car driver. 99% of the time I am one with the road. Then I see your post– I’m a Gemini– WHAT?!?! Wit– I’m Cap rising. So there you go 🙂

  2. Totally agree with flyingcolors. I’m Gemini with exact quincunx to Saturn. First I’d like to point out that Geminis are the only people qualified to do several things at once. Second, I keep getting comments about how safe people feel when I drive. With Sun in Gemini and Moon in Virgo, we’re talking “skillful” right? I also love to drive in a sportsy way, but always in a defensive mode (a lot of people in my family were killed by bad drivers).

  3. Have you ever noticed that anybody driving slower than you is an idiot, and anyone going faster than you is a maniac?
    George Carlin

  4. I strongly disagree with this list, it is a bit insulting to our intelligence to be honest (all based on stereotypes). I never drove while on the phone (I do have common sense and I like to avoid getting into accidents. I am really paranoid about other drivers while behind the wheel as many seem to speed or don’t follow the rules of the road. Plus I don’t even own a cellphone and if I did, it probably won’t be fancy or used much as I don’t really call people or get calls), much less while looking through a book. I never heard of anyone doing that before. Also I am very quick to react when needed.

I may not be the best driver since I am not very experienced yet (currently working on getting my license); but far from the worst as well. My problem at the moment is learning to really judge the distance and just how soon I need to slow down as well as working on parallel parking. I have been getting better over time with practice. Had not gotten into an accident once.

  5. Natally I have aries on 3rd with mars in 3rd (square asc, moon, uranus, neptune). Need to drive because other means of transportation are not doable in my case. I also don’t know when to choose to learn how to drive. The huge stellium transit will move to virgo in my 8th, then will square my personal planets in 4th then they move to libra when they will square my rising and stellium in 1st, then scorpio-opposing my planets and so on until we get to saturn pluto conjunction in my 1st and honestly don’t want to risk it. Tho this sounds like an excuse even to me. I am scared and not without reason. Can stick to rules and pay attention, be more than watchful on the road, see the worst possible scenario and have a backup plan. What I can;t do at all is calculate distance. I have terrible space orientation which I assume is gold when learning how to drive. Eye-hand coordination is fine, but eye-feet coordination is not. Should someone *in general* with and afflicted 3rd and these attributes learn how to drive or not? Or later on with more positive transits?
