Is It Good If Both Partners Have Saturn in the 7th house?

Many see Saturn in the 7th house as a deterrent to marriage. I don’t think it’s near that simple…

Rebecca asks on Saturn In The 7th House – Would You Marry Them?

“What if you BOTH have Saturn in the 7th house?”

Hi, Rebecca.

You have to consider both charts as a whole but in general I would see this as a positive because both people would have a similar bead on relationship. Both people would see relationship as serious. This goes a long way.

It would be like finding “tribe”. Someone who sees eye to eye with you regarding love.

It would spare you this type situation where Venus Neptune (me) met Venus conjunct Saturn in Scorpio, 8th house. We had wholly different “love natures”.

Can anyone else weigh in?

  1. “There’s no reason to be afraid of any aspect or house placement, I always believed. Someone out there is going to “get” you, no matter what “bad” aspects you have.”

    Lis-Nail on the head, man!

  2. I like the response to this question that Elsa gave. It might be my bias but I think that saturn in the same house is positive, just as I might think that mars in the same house for a couple is positive, especially if it is poorly placed.

  3. That doesn’t sound bad at all.
More like people who have only a few, but meaningful relationships. (Very generally speaking)
Their partner could have Saturn on their ascendant or be capricorn rising…

  4. I have Venus in my 10th, and Pluto is crossing my Cap descendant this year. This is also the year I will marry a man with Pluto in Libra and Saturn in Scorpio in his 7th house. I guess all that does sound kinda scary… but I can promise you that the deep commitment that we’ve found in each other is exactly what we were both after, and we couldn’t be any less scared of being together forever.

    1. Hey CocoPeaches I hope your marriage is beautiful. I’m a woman with Pluto in Libra and Saturn in Scorpio, both 7th house, and though I have had many passionate intimacies, I have yet to have a “partner” in this life, despite deeply longing for one. I do know I could only be in a relationship that deep, committed, and real. Your story gives me hope.

  5. Wow, I never thought about that before. I have Saturn 7th house, and so does my beloved boyfriend of almost 8 years. I literally have never had such a long and happy relationship before I met him.

For us, it is easy-peasy and a no brainer. No work whatsoever. We just get along and accept each other as is. We have never argued. I think he is the most intuitive person I have ever known. He appreciates that I accept him as is.

  6. I have a stellium in Capricorn and Aquarius. Sun, Venus and Mars in Capricorn no less. Moon in Cancer, opposite my Sun. And nothing – I mean NOTHING – in my 7th house (Libra). I was single for many decades, right up until I was 48. And then Saturn entered my 7th house (Libra). My Gemini husband was going through his 2nd Saturn Return. We met, and it was serious. Very serious!! For the first time in my life. That was 8 years ago, and we are now married. A relationship born of Saturn. I don’t think I could have been coupled any other way quite frankly!

  7. I knew a woman who has Saturn in the 7th in Libra, she’s been married for 36+ years. Considered her marriage a spiritual path/test. It was not a happy marriage. They coexisted, and were friends, but I knew that she wasn’t happy for many years.
