This weekend, the Aquarius Sun squares Jupiter in Scorpio. Sagittarius Mars, Jupiter ruled, is moving into square with Neptune, exact next week. Mercury is moving into square with Jupiter. Opportunities for growth abound, or they seem to. Thoughts ramp up to racing speed. There is so much coming up at once! But fools rush in… and less is more.
There’s a tendency to overdo. There are so many possibilities and it’s tough to gauge which are ideally actionable. The good news is the Moon and Venus are in excellent territory to steer.
Friday’s Sagittarius Moon sextiles the Sun, on into Saturday. On Saturday the Moon sextiles late Aquarius Venus. How do you know which opportunities are ripe and which are a bridge too far (for now at least)? You’ll feel it. You’ll feel a clear push-back if the time’s not right! Just listen to the quiet direction of your mood. If it’s not a clear yes, it’s a clear no. Do the warmer/colder thing.
Is the choice warmer or colder? Does it make me feel better or worse? Don’t overthink… that would be the approaching Mercury-Jupiter square. It’s not BAD to overthink. It’s unhelpful, and it won’t make you feel as good as you can feel.
And this weekend has the capacity for bliss.
Saturday after the Moon sextiles Venus, both change sign, holding their sextile. Venus goes first, into Pisces. The Moon follows in the afternoon, on over into Saturn ruled Capricorn and a conjunction to Saturn. So it feels right to look after what you ideally want, yet slow down and mind the timing. There are goodies in reach. Some will be tangible, some will not. Slow down so that you can feel which is which and also which are not ripe and ready (save for later).
Moon in Capricorn is a slow but realistically promising mood. It requires substance for satisfaction. However, it is discerning enough to know when maturation is necessary to breed substance.
Venus in Pisces is ideal, shimmering, exquisitely, delicately charming. Its sweetness is held in poignant bliss, but a bubble easily popped. The magic is in riding that edge between bliss and disappointment. Trying to nail down a balloon of a light feeling only brings disappointment. Let a light thing be a light thing.
Add the two together and you have the ability to ride that razor’s edge without a cut. Even when you slip, the cut feels good in its pain. A bit. A bit good, but don’t dwell in it. Move past and onward and back onto the edge. If you dwell in it, you can’t get back in the flow. And the flow is where the bliss resides.
Saturday night to Sunday, the Moon holds its stabilizing conjunction to Saturn. Then it spends the balance of the day in sextile to Neptune. Oh bliss. If you ride the edge and meter your mood.
With Neptune in building square to Mars, you can’t force it. If you’re confused, don’t act. If it doesn’t feel right, don’t act… yet. The rough edge of the weekend is the possibility of overdoing things or going too far. But if you’re listening to your higher guidance and paying attention to your mood, you won’t go there. So no worries.
It’s a light handed guidance. If it doesn’t come, stop trying so hard. Try your hand at something else till you loosen up. Then it comes, softly, sweetly. Musically. Put on some music and dance, or listen to the quiet nothing. That also works.
Spend time with people that make it easy to get into that flow. How do you know? Try. If it doesn’t work, try something or someone else. Follow the feeling.
What are your weekend plans?
