Weekly Forecast: June 28 – July 2, 2021 – Mars Opposes Saturn

Dill PickleVenus bops along in early Leo just fine, burning daylight and looking shiny. It heads toward conjunction with Mars as both move to oppose Saturn. It doesn’t look so much like a budding showdown as it does a chance to create bright new solutions to balance the consequences that have stacked up from weeks and months ago.

While the Saturn-Uranus square brings unexpected blocks and field leveling changeups to this broader time, retrograde Saturn pulls away from the square. That gives us a chance to catch up and improve from a distance: We can now see how. That doesn’t make it easy, but it can make it fun.

What fun is an easy road to a hero? Where’s the challenge, the glory?

In the short run, Monday afternoon brings Venus into exact quincunx with the Moon and retro Jupiter in Pisces. It’s a boost to desire and a desire for connection. We need more. However, it’s a boost that requires some creativity, faith, and effort to access. Prime the pump for later, perhaps.

Tuesday brings the Pisces Moon onto the midpoint of the Saturn-Chiron sextile and into sextile with Uranus. The mood is stabilized with integrity, enough to open a door to beneficial surprise. So draw that fire into your belly and breathe out steam to turn the wheel. The wheel is going to stand out as something familiar that sparkles in a way that is out of place. Or something out of place that feels familiar.

The Pisces Moon then heads into square with newly direct Mercury in Gemini. You don’t have to draw any conclusions. Take the info in and let it swirl around. There’s more than one answer right now. Wait till you know. When you know, you know.

Wednesday, the Pisces Moon conjoins Neptune and sextiles Pluto. It’s brief but intense; power up and feel your chi flow. Spiritual power is still power.

Nighttime moves the Moon into Aries, but it makes no new aspects till Thursday morning when Mars opposes Saturn exactly and the Moon trines Venus. The Moon goes on to square the Sun then heads into sextile with Saturn and trine to Mars. Get in tune with the motion of the day before you take action.

We want to act, we NEED to move. Make sure you’re pointed in the right direction first! These actions are built to last… building to last.

One caveat: Make sure you remember the good of others as well. It’s easy to get on a track of singular focus in action.

Early Friday, Mars closes its exact trine to Chiron, then the Mars-ruled Aries Moon sextiles Mercury. Act and communicate with integrity and authenticity. This mood also supports listening clearly and interpreting non-verbal signs as well. Don’t assume you’ve got it right. Tune in to the gut feeling, but verify: ask. Experience is the best teacher. If you don’t notice it happening, TRY. It’s an excellent time to begin negotiations.

At the end of the night, the Moon squares Pluto, fired up. Passion. Power. With Mars in Leo supported by Venus, put this energy to creative, enlivening use. To quote Edgar Rice Burroughs’ character John Carter of Mars: We still live.

  1. This is a hot-ted up week for us in the Pacific Northwest America, after a week of near 100 degree temps; we’re not used to (Global Warming) it. Mars opposing Saturn. I’m sitting to write on Tuesday morning, cooler now and you wrote: “The mood is stabilized with integrity, enough to open a door to beneficial surprise. Breathe out steam to turn the wheel … that fire in my belly is an apt and true description. Something is either out of place or something out of place is being familiar. Yes! All that heat has opened up lots of clog, creating more fog?
    We do live. xo
