Weekly Forecast: January 27-31, 2020 – Venus-Neptune, Dream It Up

Beautiful flowersMonday, Venus conjoins Neptune, giving off waves of pleasure and longing. It also conveys an ability to morph your levels of belief and appreciation.

On the heels of Venus square Mars, some things we’ve handled may feel less than well-handled. But as I just said to myself: “I’m going to believe I did that well, so I can get back to feeling good about myself.” Thant’s Venus-Neptune applying. You can dream it up, and it actually works.

Mars finishes its square to Neptune overnight into Tuesday morning. If your doubts linger, first make sure you have done all you can do, then either finish up or fog over the remainder.

On Tuesday, Aquarius Mercury perfects a trine to Libra Juno. People are going to talk about their candidate – or talk about other people talking. However, in trine this is pretty benign. They’re not as likely to bitch, all things in their personal chart being somewhat reasonable. This can be any candidate, really. Heck it could be a candidate for a relationship… or they could talk about how hot the local city councilperson is. Who knows. It’s also a good time to investigate campaigns or organizations you’d like to volunteer for. It sounds dull, doesn’t it? It won’t be.

It’s also a good time to discuss your relationship. People are more likely to be pro-social and high-minded while also willing to consider the sexual aspect. Talking about sex and sex education also fits. It’s a great time to have “the talk” in whatever context you’re attending.

Monday through early Wednesday morning, we’ve got the Moon in Pisces. That keeps the Venus-Neptune flavor active, even if the exact aspect has passed. It’s a mellowing, pleasant buzz or balm.

Wednesday the Moon moves to Aries and over Chiron. The mood snaps us back to our feeling of embracing our home truths. Thursday, the Aries Moon trines Mars then opposes Juno. It may be time to hop up and take action on plans that were considered earlier in the week. The mood brings something extra, a spring in your step and joy in your heart. If you didn’t feel it with the new moon, you will now.

Later Thursday, Venus begins a sextile to Pluto. Friday morning it picks up a sextile to Saturn as well. We may start to see new growth poking up through the rubble of what’s come down in the past few months. If you see an opportunity to beautify something, chances are you’ll find it’s even better than you’d hoped. Look for the chance to shine up something valuable. But don’t walk back to something you left behind for good reasons.

Friday the Aries Moon squares Pluto and Saturn. It’s okay to feel conflicted if you are reminded of the past. Just don’t betray yourself over it.

The Moon goes on to sextile Mercury before moving to Taurus and a conjunction to Uranus. You know what’s truly in your best interests. The mind and senses have the mood electrified. Listen to what’s good for you according to YOU, and head toward a completely different reward on a brand new level. If you need advice, this is a great time to seek it. The right person may be right there and ready.

How did the new moon fresh start impact your life this week?

  1. You wrote: “On the heels of Venus square Mars, some things we’ve handled may feel less than well-handled. Before reading your forecast I was thinking the “less than well-handled” part … as if all was in vain. But then I found something that pulled me through an old (and beautiful) story written many years ago. It connected with something/someone timeless and literally brought back from the edge of extinction. Then, I read this and I am feeling “it can actually work.” I’m hoping to fall asleep with that feeling. xo

  2. Ready set here I come February , last class and test Thursday hopefully it gets me my tassel
Then ,hmmm time to write that novel, even if just my kids and grands
    Read…Or paint that ocean rolling:)

  3. The New Moon effect has not been very perceptible for me, so I think I will follow your inspiring “I’m going to believe I did that well, so I can get back to feeling good about myself.”
    It is actually quite uplifitng!!!!!!!

  4. It’s been an awful week for me and many others around me. Death, sickness, unexpected tragedy. For me personally, I dislike Neptune energy. It makes me feel untethered and floaty, and not in a good way. More in a “I’ve got the spins and I’m going to puke” way. I’m a Libra, so Venus up close and personal with Neptune has not been a good look for me this week. I’ve felt drained and borderline sick all week. This morning I woke up sweating and dizzy. Blech. No thanks. Neptune can keep his shit.
