Weekly Forecast: February 14-18, 2022 – Full Moon In LEO

lion vintage valentineLeo Moon for Valentine’s Day? Yes, please! The Moon trines Chiron and squares Uranus, a mood for healthy action, generosity… possibly unsettling surprises. That we bounce back from! This calls for sunny drama and a heart that always gives.

Monday afternoon, Mercury leaves Capricorn for Aquarius. It’s about time! Literally. Our experience of time changes and picks up speed. Minds may wander, but they also wander into novel landscapes, picking up new ideas and compelling plans.

Late in the night, Mercury perfects a sextile to Pallas Athene in Aries. Did you learn something? Spot a pattern in love or at least your own approach to love? Those who already grok the patterns reap some sweet rewards.

Tuesday’s Leo Moon heads away from square to Uranus and into opposition with Saturn. All this change we’ve experienced in the past few months leaves us hungry for personal meaning. Yes we can see the lack in the world, but we’ve also taken stock of what we have, what we want, and what we can do.

Former plans broke. New ones will come. An open mind helps. Along with that we need the ability to listen to what’s really being said, even when communications spark outside the usual avenues.

Restriction prompts an emotional response that in turn brings us into position to face our personal meaning, our purpose. How we feels evokes who we are… and that takes us back into “Now what will we do with that?”

Wednesday morning, Mars catches up to Venus in Capricorn – a long climb – exact. Within hours, the Leo Moon quincunxes Pluto and opposes the Sun at the end of Aquarius: the full moon.

What’s holding you back from rising like a phoenix? How do you feel about yourself… in your secret heart of hearts, do you know that you’re special? Let go of the doubt. It’s possible to be selfless and “full of yourself” and blend them into something special. You have value because you exist. Moving mountains doesn’t prove anything.

Jupiter in Pisces sextiles Uranus in Taurus. When you believe you have value, that you’re special and powerful because of course you are… YOU DO. Grab that gift.

The full moon can be a blast of letting go of the hubris that you’re NOT special. Life wants you to claim your reward so you can get on with the work of taking part in the miracle.

Thursday the Virgo Moon opposes Jupiter and trines Uranus as Jupiter and Uranus perfect their sextile. Grab on to all the ideas! So many epiphanies; it’s like candy from a piñata.

Friday morning the Virgo Moon opposes Pisces ruler Neptune, then the Sun glides into Pisces. Doing something nice for others has the added bonus of satisfaction for yourself. It’s intoxicating. That Virgo mood is great for doing what needs to be done, and somehow it feels oh so good to do it.

The Moon trines Venus and Mars as they move along together, and goes on to trine Pluto by nighttime. I can’t think of a better influence for a Friday and a Friday night. TGIF! Get your whole body involved because this is fun and feel good. Move your body to clear out your mind!

The full moon takes place at 27/28 Leo. Where does that hit your chart? Do you have any plans for Valentine’s Day? I have a date with a chocolate orange left over from Christmas. I bought a new hot pink plaid flannel to wear.

  1. Valentine’s Day is nothing in my life, alas. The only thing I’m worried about is, does WWIII start this week, or next? I’m so anxious, though nobody seems to be talking about dire transits.
