This morning in the aftermath of insurrection, we witnessed an effected community taking care, clearing up, getting on. This is a Virgo Moon mood. The Gemini Sun sextiled Chiron in Aries, acting through pain, preoccupied mind-space, heart-space. An opportunity to process through action, service.
By afternoon, Cancer Mercury in quincunx to Saturn provides an avenue to process that weight.
It’s heavy, and it doesn’t stay where you put it.
Later Friday, the Virgo Moon moves to square the Sun, trine Uranus, and quincunx Chiron. The Sun and Moon are both in Mercury-ruled signs and Mercury in Cancer attaches to emotion. To home. To a mental need for satisfaction. The mood can be electrified, infused with value and meaning, but you’ll need to let it in.
If you don’t feel good, make a list and move through it. It’s simple enough to snap out of it. Create expectations and structure, even if those list items don’t mesh perfectly. Or find a project with actionable steps; that would also fit. Take care of the little things. Clean up messes, address details, and stay open to how that might look.
Organize something and you’ll find yourself feeling self worth. Even just thinking about doing so will help.
Overnight into Saturday, the Moon opposes Mars in Pisces. Look for the divine in the other. Or at least the hand of the divine in the workings of the other. Find the balance somewhere between judgement and nitpicking and self-pity and making things harder on yourself. Get into the flow by using your mind and senses. Communicate from your best self.
Saturday night, the Virgo Moon opposes Neptune and goes on to trine Pluto and Jupiter. It’s easier to feel meaning and make sense of that depth of emotion. There’s something to express, far and wide, when it feels right. It’s also likely some will check out and seek relief in whatever diversion presents itself.
With Venus retrograde heading back though Gemini into square with Mars, don’t forget to filter action through your own considered values. Pleasure seeking works in the moment, but the hangover is intense if it doesn’t serve both the head and the heart.
With Venus retro, we’re back in some old territory, a chance to gain perspective or taste something sweet once more… maybe more than once.
Sunday morning, the Moon finishes up in Virgo and moves to Libra. In Libra, the Moon trines Saturn and squares Mercury. It then opposes Chiron and goes on to trine the Sun. Putting on a mask and making nice can grate against the undercurrent of mind and senses. But on some level it is settling and leveling, necessary. The feeling that you’re ultimately in control of doing that can go a long way toward satisfaction. It’s still YOU.
What are your weekend plans?
