So Friday is Valentine’s Day, Saturday half price candy day, and on Sunday Mars and Mercury bust some moves. I’m forecasting a bunch of people missing the mark on Friday and having to book it to CVS for belateds over the rest of the weekend. But that’s not everyone, just some. This period culminates with some upbeat, active feels to look forward to: All’s well that ends well.
Friday night, the Scorpio Moon sextiles Jupiter and trines Neptune. Jupiter moves closer into sextile with Neptune. The Moon carries echoes of the Pluto-Saturn conjunction and infuses the night with gravity as well as depth. It’s meaningful, long-reaching; things feel important and connected. There’s ballast in our move toward a life with meaning. In the longer term, we’re heading into a new phase of that timeline, and as usual that comes with a bit of initial wobble.
Saturday night, the Moon finishes up in Scorpio with a square to the Sun and sextile to Saturn. It’s a benchmark/touchstone moment. Look for already written chapter endings to be cleaned up and categorized, gleaning more meaning in a way that makes us feel safe. When the Moon moves to Sagittarius, it moves into trine with Chiron and into orb of trine with Venus. Tell yourself the truth; hear truth from others. It feels good. It feels like relief and moving forward into freedom and agency.
Sunday morning the Moon moves closer into trine with Aries Venus, and it also heads into square of stationing Mercury. Pisces Mercury begins its retrograde period in the afternoon/evening. When you rush, you miss details. That doesn’t mean you should slow down; it just means you shouldn’t exceed your greatest functional speed in the fog. Find your groove and cruise in it. That’s where the maximum returns lie.
Mars hits Capricorn early Sunday morning. The jet fuel has burnt off, but we’ve already reached cruising speed by that time. Use the momentum to carry the day. Meter your actions to reflect that goal. Don’t do too much (not enough fuel) or too little (lose forward motion). Go for the Baby Bear groove – just right.
What are your weekend plans?
