Weekend Love Forecast – The Final Hours Of Retro Mercury

smileFriday night, the breezy Aquarius Moon sextiles Jupiter at the very end of Aries. You’ll find opportunities to space out and cruise or to take off like a rocket in any or all directions. Get your genius on… or your helmet.

All weekend, we experience the growing challenge of a t-square in flux. Mars squares Jupiter as Jupiter squares retro Pluto, and Mars opposes Pluto. All three are set to change sign. We’re dealing with the fallout of a full moon eclipse as this coalesces. So while we’re managing those effects, it’s still an emerging situation on some front or other. We’ve got action, physical presence, power, volcanic change, and rocket fuel. But also fate, also fortune. And a lesson, not just a lesson – a whole degree.

Mars in active trine to Neptune aids in treading lightly, possibly even soothing the savage breast. That’s a boon.

A complicating factor is the last gasp of Mercury’s retrograde action in Taurus. On the heels of an exact, retro sextile to Saturn, Mercury slows to turn direct Sunday night. At that point, it will head into sextile with Saturn again. We turned up something old and crusty, and the chickens came home to roost. A dear dream plummeted, or it benefitted from a twist of meaning. Either way, we’ve got another perspective shift on the horizon (near or far).

It has the markings of weakness or a mistake exposed then set right. Keep your nose clean, and speak with integrity and an attitude of grace and camaraderie. The truth is valuable, so don’t shoot the messenger. Even if they deserve it, actually. Your own grace is valuable.

Late Friday, early Saturday the Moon moves to Neptune-ruled Pisces. Everything has a foot in the deep this weekend, so remember where you want to be on that river: right where you are. Not chasing something downstream. Not trying to get upstream. Let go what’s gone, don’t chase what’s not yet here. Cool your heels in the water. Have faith you’ll know when to take action. Don’t try to make something a thing if it’s not a thing.

Let your movements flow and remain organic to the situation at hand. Only tend to NOW.

Saturday night, the Pisces Moon cruises along unimpeded. Take a deep breath, wiggle those toes. Go where destiny sends you. Now with that emerging t-square, this moment might tempt a person into something deeply chaotic. Do that Bruce Lee thing, be like water. And be like that person with their feet in the water. Take it as it comes. Use good sense if you have any. Things are set to shift, so don’t fret.

Sunday morning, the Pisces Moon sextiles Uranus then the Sun. It goes on to trine Mars and conjoin Neptune as Mercury stations direct. Still we have that t-square. BUT, when you stick to your flow and let the rest of creation find its own level (and mind its own business), things go surpisingly well, given the circumstances.

By all means, jump in where you’re needed. The trick is knowing what business is your business. Loving your neighbor is your business, but not against their will. Even with the pause between Mercury-Saturn sextiles, we still have an active orb of degree for the aspect. You know what the right thing is. You know what guidance is right. Don’t delude yourself; you know when you’re doing that too. It’s not worth missing an opportunity to understand what the right thing is. Also: consequences.

Do you have any weekend plans?

  1. Smoooth sailing in the garden. All the starts are responding to the copper wire and perfect temps. I’ve implemented ELECTROCULTURE! How’s that for a perfect Uranus/ taurus action? lol. It’s all fun and shiny. I think there’s something pure and simple with the tech. I guess Shauburger discovered coppers importance in the early 1900’s. Every other worry falls away when I’m in the garden.
