Weekend Love Forecast – Post Eclipse, Leo Mars Motion

DylanFriday night the Cancer Moon conjoins Venus then heads into square with Chiron and sextile to Uranus. Our collective mood is ripe with post eclipse purpose, matured ever so slightly to accommodate some revisions to our desires.

You know how you’ve got this great plan, but then an even better idea supersedes that dream… In this case, we’re not scrapping the former for the latter. We’re given a chance to see the issues with the base plan before it’s even implemented, and those shortcomings prompt a brainstorm.

The old is not dismissed, but the new is not ready. Keep on churning as it’s not yet time to commit. But it is time to begin troubleshooting before troubles even present themselves. Knowing what you want is a process. That process get you bogged down in details or it can be your path to success.

With Mars in Leo and Sun in Gemini, it’s possible to walk through some of these steps in our imagination. When it comes time to do the actual work, we’ll have some built in experience. Thinking things through can “trick” our minds into recording something as a memory.

This weekend, the Sun squares Neptune as Mars forms a quincunx to Jupiter. The key to making the most of planning and action is in utilizing that memory-fantasy portion. Infuse your mental and physical walkthrough and actions with the confidence of faith.

It’s only foolish to rely on drummed up power if you ignore possible pitfalls. Acknowledging, noting, and working around them works just fine. Telling yourself that you’re capable and will rise to whatever occasion presents itself is smart faith.

Confidence links to faith always. Mars will move into opposition to Saturn eventually and through that time, we’re building the ability to rely on ourselves through experience. Now is an excellent time to begin, while you’ve got time to work out the kinks.

Reassure yourself of your ability to work things out. That’s different from perfection. Whatever we do, we can always begin again.

Saturday night, the Cancer Moon trines Neptune. Friday night infuses the mood with exactly what we need to even out. Saturday adds in faith and the ability to connect to a higher level of satisfaction. Our fresh start new moon gets an emotional recentering: and that center is everywhere.

You can’t heal what you haven’t first felt. You can’t fix what you don’t recognize. Opportunities arise to see and then to address. The balm will be obvious when you understand the injury.

Early Sunday morning, Venus perfects its quincunx to Saturn as the Moon opposes Pluto. Nothing worth having comes without effort, but that doesn’t mean it will hurt. It can feel good to make things happen. It satisfies. We work out the kinks over time… when we keep at it.

Sunday afternoon, the Moon moves to Leo and a conjunction with Mars. Moon-Mars drive for heart-centered action roars with that quincunx to Jupiter. More movement feels good. Exuberance is a natural consequence and joy is possible. Prime the pump to get the flow.

As Mercury moves back into trine with Saturn, the Moon begins to pick up on Monday’s Moon-Saturn opposition energy. It’s enough to be aware of the limits of what we think we know. Let that awareness crack the resistance we have to an open mind and open heart.

Omie Johnson once said: Let fate do some of the heavy lifting.

The eclipses were intense and are still unfolding. How are you faring, what are you planning, and what comes next?

  1. Hi satori! Isn’t the moon inconjunct Saturn and eventually opposing Pluto in Cap instead of inconjuncting Pluto, as you’ve written?

Also, do you think Ceres conjunct Uranus trine Venus + Moon will play out sadly given the Chiron square?

  2. Love the way the photo of your weight-lifter (son right?!) ties in the story you have crafted. Letting fate do some of the heavy lifting is what I’m experiencing. Fate, and Jupiter in trine with my MC is doing this for me and what a relief. Didn’t know how to bring it about on my own; or been too long since feeling it: JOY.
“You can’t heal what you haven’t first felt. You can’t fix what you don’t recognize. Opportunities arise to see and then to address. The balm will be obvious when you understand the injury:” This is so kind! xo

    • Yes, that’s my oldest, Dylan. He just competed in a powerlifting meet in Portland. I think that pic is from eight years ago before his first “strong man” competition. It looks like the WWU gym. xxoo!
