All weekend long, Venus and Mercury move along together in Capricorn, heading into sextile with Neptune and conjunction to Pluto. Capricorn ruler Saturn hovers between them in Aquarius, near or on their midpoint. Such ideal, dreamy opportunity. So many delicious and magical possibilities. Saturn approves or denies.
We could go with the usual Saturn “do the right thing” narrative, and that’s valid. But a lot of this is timing. Even if it’s right, perhaps it’s not exactly NOW.
I remember getting Christmas money and ordering toys from a catalog. I had to WAIT, but I knew they were coming. With Capricorn-Aquarius-Pisces and Venus-Mercury, our end game may be tangible, ethereal, or intellectual. It may even have humanitarian aspects. None of this favors or gains favor from being a miser.
Being selfish and being a miser are two different things. Being selfish is sometimes the appropriate response. Being miserly never is. Love is nothing till you give it away, give it away, give it away; love is something when you give it away: You end up having more.
Love’s just like a magic penny
hold it tight and you won’t have any
lend it, spend it and you’ll have so many
they’ll roll all over the floor!
Visited by three ghosts? I hope not, but if that’s what it takes…
Friday night, the Capricorn Moon quincunxes retro Mars and squares Chiron as Mars and Chiron sextile and Chiron stations direct. Here’s your moment to figure out where you’re warranted in self care and what crosses the line into being miserly. Don’t be hard on yourself, just be fair. And flourish! The universe loves you and wants you to fail forward into learning and growing.
We want to UNDERSTAND. Trying is a good thing.
Later, the Moon heads into trine with Uranus and conjunction to Venus. Start a revolution: Start loving yourself. Trying is a good start.
Saturday night’s Capricorn Moon sextiles Neptune and conjoins Pluto. It then heads into Aquarius and an exact sextile to Jupiter overnight. Traditions can be hard on us, but at their heart they link us to ever widening circles of humanity. We can all sink or well all float, cos we’re all in the same big boat: One world is enough for all of us.
The MOOD brings the power to lead us through a satisfying transformation worth singing about.
Sunday morning, the Moon in humanitarian Aquarius sextiles Jupiter: joyful trumpets, morning song. It then heads into trine with Mars and sextile to Chiron. When we know better, we do better. When we feel better, we also do better. When we learn to do better because it just works better, we all win.
Happy, Merry, LOVE LOVE LOVE from me to YOU. I see you. I feel you. I love you. xxoo
