Weekend Love Forecast – Gemini Season Sensory Sparkle

Friday after the new moon in Gemini, the Moon floats on to square Pisces Mars and sextile Aries Chiron. Mars sextiles Uranus in Taurus (exact late Sunday night) with Chiron on their midpoint. It’s a wrench in the gears of getting on with it – but only if you don’t jump in early and make the best of what you’ve got. It’s like jumping into water: You won’t know how it feels till you try. Bold moves boost the mood and you can take satisfaction in your healthy agency.

Gemini ruler Mercury holds a waning square to Neptune and so does retrograde Venus. Nothing’s perfect. The correct plan for that is to go INward while probing your values and OUTward in sensate experience and the manipulation of clues. Bounce your thoughts off more than one sounding board. If you don’t have two, you count as a listener. Speak out loud. We process externals differently than internal musings.

All weekend, the Gemini Sun moves into square with Mars. We’re in the preliminary steps of that search for information. Lacking all the items for moving forward is a given but make your best effort anyway. Learn as you go, experiment: Mars-Chiron-Uranus. Forge the right tool for the job as you go along, even if it takes more than one try. Not all situations benefit from waiting for the perfect conditions. Train up – let it teach you how to train up.

Saturday night, the Gemini Moon squares Neptune, a mood for mystery. Don’t mistake that Scooby-Doo vibe for an excuse to melt down in misery (drama). It’s a minor challenge that responds to a fresh approach. Investigate!

All weekend, Mercury moves into quincunx with Pluto and Jupiter. That mystery leads us in a meandering chase of depth and excitement. Uncover the facts and muse on what they mean to your current and future paths. In case I’m not being plain – collect the clues even if you can’t yet solve for X. You can do this!

Sunday, the Gem Moon conjoins Mercury, hotting up those aspects to Pluto and Jupiter. As we head into eclipse season (starting out with a full moon in Sagittarius, Friday June 5th), we’ll make use of the musings we chase down and examine NOW. The mood responds to a multi-range, multi-source approach. Open up your options rather than nail them down. Be ready to divert onto a different path if necessary.

When the Moon hits Cancer in the evening, it picks up a trine to Mars and the flavor of Mars-Chiron-Uranus. Experiment! Or do something that soothes. Or both. Get in the flow; it’s good for you.

What are your weekend plans?

  1. “but only if you don’t jump in early and make the best of what you’ve got. It’s like jumping into water: You won’t know how it feels till you try.” We were at the harbor this afternoon, taking a break from the campground weed whacking going on. In the water I watched three kids … first messing with logs to build a wall against the incoming tide. Between my naps and their energy, the kids had moved on: one of ’em was in the water heading for the floating dock. His pals raced down to mean him (but never joined the waterboy).
Your description of whether or not to jump into the water is so perfect. The water here is COLD. It made no never mind to the boy. I remember that feeling. ALWAYS LOVED the first dive.
Exploring the options, that is good, too. Experiencing the mojo. xo

  2. Wow. So much of what you have written is speaking to me right now (Saturday). All the tidbits are coalescing into one big aha moment.

I just spent the entire evening googling someone who figured briefly but memorably in my life when I was just starting out.

It was pure serendipity that landed me on her track (tonight) as she was not even on my radar.

She was my age but died a decade ago.

I just ran her chart and lo and behold, she had Sun, Moon, Venus in Gemini, and as luck would have it, these three plus Mercury are smack dab “on her” right now! I think that extra (transiting) Mercury in the mix is her wanting to speak to me!

I’m all ears. The messenger has spoken (and continues to speak).

You said: “Uncover the facts and muse on what they mean to your current and future paths. In case I’m not being plain – collect the clues even if you can’t yet solve for X.”

    I’m on it! Thanks! 🙂

    • Wow again! And now, with the Moon heading into Cancer, this morning (Sunday) I have finally found another person, this one having been my Significant Other for 5 years in my early 20s (she was a close friend of the other person mentioned above). Anyway, as I suspected (intuition, no real reason) she died too, a decade and a half ago, on her 2nd Saturn Return.

This one was a Cancer, my mother is a Cancer Sun-Moon, I am a Cancer Moon, and my next lover would be a Cancer also! Now the transiting Cancer Moon has things to tell me!

Once more, I’m all ears! (More clues for the puzzle of my path!)

And, as you say, today I shall “do something that soothes!” 🙂

        • Have you got a third thumb? (insert big wide eyes)

I just found the doyenne of our group at the time passed away a mere two months ago, at the venerable old age of 93, “peacefully, in her home”.

A member of our then group was still prominently in her life after all these decades. (Nice to know, since the rest of us have pretty much either died or scattered to the four winds. )
