Virgo In Love (With Scorpio)

I wrote this for a client. I am sure many of you can relate.

“You’re quite earthy and Scorpio is a good match for you. Pluto in Scorpio in your chart is very well aspected, as is Saturn in the sign. I think Scorpio sets off positive things for you and the problems you have in relationship are more internal. Things like commitment-phobia, defenses, being a Virgo (single woman) – stuff like that. So it’s not the Scorpio “other” you have to resolve, but your own internal ambivalence…”

snip

“…The thing to avoid here is: “I am a Virgo maiden and it is others who cause problems”. Not saying you are doing that. Just defining the hole you don’t want to fall in!”

Sound familiar?

  1. Yes, as a Virgo Sun, I have been in scenarios where I would try to explain away all the external reasons why I did not want to do something or was afraid of doing something. But I realize it’s a combination of internal and external reasons. I need to use all the fire in my chart to be bold!

  2. Yep. Virgo Sun.

I have fallen into that tiger trap a few times. Often, because I’m checking my map for tiger traps, instead of watching where I put my feet.

  3. Eh, maybe. Control issues between Scorpios and earth signs — well actually with everyone of course but here it comes down to a contest regarding what to hold onto and hold back. Virgo pretty much has the keys to the kingdom in terms of what Scorpio really wants control of, but Scorpio doesn’t realize what they’re really trying to get at until *they* realize they’re dealing with someone they better respect.

    Takes a while. Sigh.

  4. This really surprised me. Virgo is not stupid. Why would she try to muscle any fixed sun? It is what it is. Take it or leave it.

  5. Yes… It sounds familiar. The Virgo and I, in our on again off again relationship (off for good I hope) had this tendency to talk his way out of things then regret the opportunity. Timid isn’t the word but the over active mercury of his Virgo sun. An hour or maybe 2 week conversation including questions about doing something. Exhausting! Let’s go and do it then maybe regret it later (if needs be)!! Live a little. Lool.

  6. oh on a personal experience note, the scorpio man was a very very long time ago. He did not take the leaving well. Didn’t seem to phase him at the time. How was I to know that he cared. Until he showed up out of the blue wielding a knife 4 months later. Luckily one of my roommates showed up, pulled him off me (he was a big guy) and called the police as he fled the scene. Only person I ever got a restraining order on. Don’t know if all that is scorpio, cuz he had a troubled past and some substance abuse goin on. I was young. Now I just think WTF was that all about. Talked to an old friend from those days a few years ago. She said he got married to a nurse. How was I to know?

haha! the story of my life!

    @eva, Can you explain:
“Virgo pretty much has the keys to the kingdom in terms of what Scorpio really wants control of, but Scorpio doesn’t realize what they’re really trying to get at until *they* realize they’re dealing with someone they better respect.”

I am not sure I follow?!

  8. I guess it also doesn’t help that my Scorpio ex-bf and I (Virgo) broke up during my ‘Uranus Opposite Venus’ transit, eh?

Everything I have read about that transit sums it up to a tee.
    What a mess!

Regret will eat me alive on this one…for a lonnnngggg time.

    🙁

  9. Ha! I’ve fallen into this trap a dozen times! Only to come out the other side alone and saying “oops – that was all my cold feet. Not his fault at all!”
