With all its self-indulgent Grand Trine pitfalls, my chart does have one saving grace – an opposition between the Moon and Uranus which combines with the Grand Trine to form a Kite. Now, Moon-Uranus connections are hardly comfortable, and oppositions even less so. And that’s what makes it so great!
Oh yes, there’s more to say about Grand Trines. Another big issue is a bit more esoteric and I don’t hear people talking about it much. It’s that Grand Trines are closed systems. They are complete circuits, and nothing gets in or out.
Another problem with Grand Trines is pure laziness. Sometimes when someone with a Grand Trine fails to execute, it’s not so much that they don’t know how to do what they need to do, but that they don’t want to.
