Saturn retrograde gives people fits. They simply don’t like the idea of backtracking. Here’s the transit watch on the current Saturn retrograde. I think it offers a good hack on the upside and the necessity of the retrograde and today I am back with some other ideas that might help.
Saturn rules time. You’ve probably heard that, time heals all wounds and you may have also heard that time wounds all heels. In either case, there is a benefit.
It’s true that things can degrade over time but it is also true that much in life improves over time. Matter of fact, if you do absolutely nothing to solve your problem, you’re likely to find that time solves it for you, one way or the other.
I like what, Gemini, Arnold Bennett has to say about time.
“Time is the inexplicable raw material of everything. With it, all is possible – without it nothing.
The supply of time is truly a daily miracle. You wake in the morning and your purse is magically filled with twenty-four hours. Time is yours. It is the most precious possession and no one receives more or less than you receive.
Moreover, you cannot draw on the future. You can only waste the next hour. It is kept for you.”
You have to live on this twenty-four hours of daily time. Out of it, you have to spin, health, pleasure, money, content, respect and the evolution of your immortal soul.
It’s right to use – it’s most effective use – is a matter of highest urgency. All depends on that.”
My point here is that even with Saturn retrograde, you still have 24 hours a day.
Do you use your time wisely?
I could probably put some of my time to better use. lol
I think it’s cool that you post a link to your chart, Eyes. 🙂
Great post, Elsa! I’m trying to make each and every hour count, even when Saturn isn’t retrograde.
O thanks Elsa… lol I think I took that recommendation from when I first joined… was in one of the threads for Beginners… I think.
O wow.. I just clicked on my name.. I didn’t know that it would go straight to my chart! LOL… I thought it went to my profile page on ElsaElsa.. haha… well now.. that IS cool. 😛
Learn something new every day. lol
I do and it’s amazing.
How do you do that Eyes?
I think too much about time. Saturn on asc? Of course this is from my father! = )
No, I don’t. When I did, I felt good – I loved being busy, but I was busy with things that I loved.
I sincerely hope that thinking and learning about what makes yourself tick… and then acting upon what you learn, in a slow and careful way counts as a good use of 24 hours. My first marriage lasted 17 years and was a humbling experience. My second marriage lasted almost 24 years, and taught me why I had made such poor choices in marriage partners. Yesterday an old flame contactd my brother to see if we could reconnect. Saturn Rx at 17 libra just hit my uranus rx in 5H in Gemini. This man is a Gemini. He has become what I always wanted in a man… a horse lover who now owns a ranch with horses. Pluto is directly impacting my Mercury and Moon, favorably. It’s all very stunning…
Good luck, norah. 🙂
my son’s middle school had a huge stone entrance that said “Waste Not Thy Hour.” I adored that.
I love the quote you included. Saturn retrogrades my 9th house, so the philosophy I live to navigate is being revisited. My thinking is my teacher as one wise saying put it.
With time and age, I’m learning to look at my thinking and with Pluto transiting my natal thinking (Merc) it’s all compost!
I’ve been reading about compost, and learning that nature doesn’t compost. Nature mulches. It takes humans to mix sh*t together in the right combinations to make a mixture that really fertilizes.
Hope I get the combinations right this time through; or Saturn/nature will do it for me ha?:)
Thank you Elsa… you can take a substantial amount of credit for where I am today. As Saturn teaches us… esp. me, whose chart ruler is Saturn, timing is everything. You gave me info on my best timing in my consult with you. I will be eternally grateful to you for that, no matter what happens now.
What a sweet thing to say, norah. Thank you very much.
Being a pisces, I think that daydreaming and relaxing are worthy uses of time.
I missed the first sentence of the quote – sorry! It’s edited.
“Time is the inexplicable raw material of everything.”
Love it !!!
