Professional Changes With Jupiter In Leo

jupiter-statue-headI’ve been turning down work, since Jupiter went into Leo. I generally try to accommodate anyone who comes to me for astrology, with the occasional exception. This has changed…dramatically (Leo).

If a person needs specialty work, like rectification, I’ll go on to Facebook and find them a practitioner. This is not something I do at all.   If they want something I can do, but don’t do very often, I will take the job, provided I feel I can competently do the work. But I no longer want to do this.

I really don’t like mundane astrology. I like to work with individuals. I like to work with the chart of a person with beating heart.
I don’t like to comb through a huge number of charts, looking for a needle in a haystack.  My mind is creative, not analytic.

Recently, satori quit doing consultations.  They overwhelmed her, which is easy to understand.

Consulting work does not overwhelm me, but I like the abstract world. I like the imaginary world. I’m just not going to take any more jobs where the main chore is data entry.  The reason is because it’s makes me feel like I’m dyin’. I’m sorry.   But this is the kind of work that will burn me out. I truly hate it.

So please…if you’ve got a relationship problem, a sex problem, a confusion / reality check problem, a lack of anything-in-the-world problem, I would be a good person to hire.

If you’re dying…if someone you love is dying, if you’ve hit a new low, or want to maintain your new high…I would be a good person to hire.

If you’re dealing with anything horrible, if you’re going to court, if your want an edge on some negotiation you’re involved in, I would be a good person to hire.

If you’re trying to get married, stay married, evaluate any kind of interaction between two (or more) people – I can do it…

I’m sure you see the theme here. It was my husband’s idea that I write this. Consulting is very challenging at this time. Look around – I’m sure you can imagine.  So I am going to prolong my lifespan as an astrologer, by limiting my practice to human problems.

Thanks all!

    • Thanks. I have to stop doing work that makes me want to bang my head into a wall. Luckily, it’s a small percentage of work, but from now on it going to be no percentage of my work! 🙂

  1. Cool this helps to know what areas you are most interested in and therefore will give the best reading on. Only question I have is if a person needs like a good general reading and the transits and progressions that go with it is this area.

    • Yes, I do this.

What I don’t like to do is sit and enter data and look at screen after screen after screen…and then come up with an answer to something that has no emotion in it.

I’m not an analyst. That’s the fact of the matter. I am someone who has not balanced my checkbook in close to 30 years. I like human beings. I am the anti-accountant. 🙂 I am not a meticulous, and I don’t fine tooth comb things, so it’s just not me…period.

  2. Thanks I was just making sure because I would love to have to you some charts for me but I am waiting on some funds. Just want to see what is happening like for the rest of 2014 and 2015.

  3. Ha! I’ve never heard of mundane astrology. I thought you meant boring astrology. Then I looked it up.

I mean, I guess you DID mean boring astrology, but I didn’t know there was such a thing as mundane astrology.

  4. Cheers to you, Elsa!!! I think it’ll be a win-win, as you give so much and are a wonderful help to those of us who put our faith in you 😉

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ I wholeheartedly endorse this, all of it. I’ve seen Elsa working for more than a decade, and she is fantastic with these things.

Beyond that – I highly support not doing the work you don’t want to do. This is me, after ten years in IT, not slinging code. I so get it. <3

  6. W.t.f. I just finished saying today, at the office, “I give myself 6 months to a year to stop doing this office shit. I can’t anymore. It’s killing me inside. There’s more to me. The ingenious rebel is breaking free. No more fear or bandwagons.” Something just clicked in the past few days. Been off the grid thinking. I have a natal Leo moon 1 degree in the 10th. It is part of a near exact grand fire trine/kite. The time is now. Elsa, I hear you, and anyone else going through this powerful transcendence.

  7. I am glad you are following your instincts and passion. You are a great consultant. “Roar!” – perfect for Jupe in Leo… I do love that which you don’t, but I’m going to blame my Virgo asc, Sadge stellium, and Merc-Pluto sextile for my obsession with details and possibilities (my love for mundane astrology). 🙂

  8. Oh thank you Elsa! This really helped me understand how I’m feeling about work. Doing relaxation massages is wearing me out more than injury massage or working with clients who have been through the ringer! It should be easier on my body and energy levels, it always has been in the past. But now it’s wearing on me. Thank you for sharing 🙂

  9. Do you only specialize in people’s personal issues, which seems to be most of the posts here, or work opportunities and professional problems too?

    • Yes, I do that too.

What I don’t do is try to find a day out of the year, when a person should have surgery…

Mostly what I do is talk to people who have some kind of problem…I try to demystify it and give them a concise plan of action, if possible.

I excel at solving puzzles, problems, especially if they’re knotty.

I also give a pretty good reality check. You’d be surprised how many people are worried right now, who have no reason to be.
