New Moon in Taurus: April 26, 2017 – Effects By House

We wake up to a new moon in Taurus on April 26th. It looks like a terrific day. I’ll be paying close attention to it because it’s my son’s Solar Return. He’ll be eighteen years old.

The new moon is not bothered by any harsh aspects.  We still have the Venus situation creating, April Sensitivities, but otherwise it looks real nice out there.

The bodies in Taurus offer stability.
I see brave innovative ideas, that are can be made solid.
There’s compassion, luck and a drive to keep things interesting.

To make use of this, you should set an intention, based on the house where the new moon falls.  Here are some ideas:

  • New Moon in the 1st house –  Present yourself as someone with solid self esteem.
  • New Moon in the 2nd house – Make money. Buy something nice, of lasting value.
  • New Moon in the 3rd house –  Write poetry; let your words be reliable.
  • New Moon in the 4th house – Beautify your home. Shore up your family.
  • New Moon in the 5th house – Art with children. Create something beautiful, of lasting value.
  • New Moon in the 6th house – Gift your workmates.
  • New Moon in the 7th house – Be a stable, reliable partner.
  • New Moon in the 8th house – Carry your shadow on your own back.
  • New Moon in the 9th house – Study art.
  • New Moon  the 10th house – Set an example of the beauty of simplicity.
  • New Moon in the 11th house – Gift your friends.
  • New Moon in the 12th house – Donate something valuable to someone, somewhere.

Where does the new moon fall in your chart? What’s your intention?

  1. Falls in my 7th house – a great void in my chart! (With house ruler Mars in Libra in 12th).
What intentions can I set, as 7th is a mystery to me?
But I’ll go along with the suggestion to try to be a stable reliable partner. I don’t like unpredictability, so why do it to others?

  2. Will be in my 1st house conjuncting Mars, opposing Pluto in 7th, trining Neptune in 9th. Advice for 1st house keep in mind.:)

  3. 10th. Love your example. I’m in the process of purging stuff because it is amazing and soul cleansing. Can’t be simpler example than being a minimalist ?

  4. This 3H Taurus New Moon sextiles my 1H Pisces Moon; trines my 7H Virgo Pluto/Vertex/Pallas Athene; and will oppose my 9H Scorpio Jupiter/Neptune conjunction. I think I’ll be having deep conversations with siblings (and friends who I consider to be family members) about important matters. This also could play out as traveling to and learning about beautiful/sensual environments.

  5. My birthday falls on the 26th too! I’m Leo moon and Aquarius rising.
Can I expect any unique effects due to my birthday falling on this day?
I’ll add that I’ve been especially sensitive to energies lately and have been letting a lot go.
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated 🙂

  6. This will conjunct my natal Saturn in my 5th house. It is also the 30th anniversary of my childhood friends death, which was a profound and life altering event. This is interesting to me since despite his physical departure I have felt a close relationship with him all the while. This gives me a lot to ponder

  7. Mine’s in the fifth also, part of an earth trine. I love the admonishment “Create something beautiful, of lasting value.”

  8. Hi I am terrible at this, I wish I understood it better. I was born on January 27th, 1987. How do I know which house the new moon would fall under for me
