New Moon in Aries: April 5, 2019 – Effects By House

Aries ram red backgroundThe new moon in Aries will take place in the morning on April 5th, 2019.  This will not be a trifling affair!

Aries is the first sign in the zodiac.  It leads!  New moons mark new beginnings. We think of spring and renewal and fresh start! This holds true for the 2019, however there is a caveat attached!  The caveat is profound and will not be ignored.

I am talking about the Saturn Pluto conjunction in Capricorn, which will square the Sun and Moon.  You want to rush off  but wait!  What about this big boulder you’re dragging?  You’ll not get far without a plan!

I’ve been working with a lot Aries lately, dealing with the planets transiting Capricorn.  When these energies clash, it creates a lot of frustration.  You initiate something… to be cut off at the knees.  It makes you mad as hell. But when the energies work together, they’re virtually unstoppable.

I say this because Mars (Aries) is exalted in Capricorn.  The fare well under this moon, you’ve got to direct your effort. Attack with determination. Charge towards a goal and when you’re slowed by some force, persevere anyway!   There is no crying in baseball!

We set intentions under new moons. Here are some ideas, based on the house in your chart where the new moon lands:

New Moon in the 1st house –  Commit to asserting yourself. Lead!
New Moon in the 2nd house – Actively manage your money; invest or save for the long term.
New Moon in the 3rd house – Mean what you say. Don’t back down.
New Moon in the 4th house – Fight for your family. Set an example of leadership.
New Moon in the 5th house –  Get your children in line, if needed.  Get serious about your own creativity.
New Moon in the 6th house – Get your health or daily routine under control.  Get ahead, on the job.
New Moon in the 7th house – Renew your commitment to your partner(s). Renegotiate if that’s what it takes.
New Moon in the 8th house – You’re responsible for and in control of your own psyche.  Don’t be pushed around or misled.
New Moon in the 9th house –  Fight to defend your beliefs.  Courage and commitment to living in accord with principles.
New Moon the 10th house – Heroic authority figure. Public grown up. Definitely no crying!
New Moon in the 11th house – Commitment to making friends or maintaining the friendships you have.  Push for this!
New Moon in the 12th house – Fight to overcome addiction or other disabling affliction.  Also, a prayer warrior.

  1. NM will fall in my 2H and trine my 7H Leo Uranus/asteroid “Jayne” conjunction. I think I will be standing my ground (Aries) and honoring (2H) my personal (asteroid “Jayne”) and unique (Uranus) values (Taurus).

    • Hitting my ascendant – First House! Fantastic!
Also, I love Mars in Capricorn, but you are absolutely right Elsa, I am no longer carrying around a big boulder and dragging people with me. During this last 7 year Uranus transit I have learned that there is a very fine line between genuinely helping someone and they responding in kind, versus jumping in headfirst as the savior of anyone and everyone who crosses my Aries path.

Assert and commit to myself – hell yeah!
I am going forward into the future and anyone who wants to join me I welcome in honesty and truth. But those negative energies I cast away to the side and sea of transformation in universal peace and goodness.

“Are you going alone” my girlfriends usually ask cringing at the thought. And the answer is “Yes”
Within half an hour there are 9 people following me. Do they all make it? No, but the ones who do never go back.

      LEAD – yess. Always forward!

Happy Birthday 🎂🎊 to all my fellow Rams 🐑 you are not alone, we’re just a little bit in front 😉

A Blessed New Moon to everyone 🙏

  2. Smack bang in the middle of my 9th house. And I have Mars in Capricorn natally. Get ready to rock’n’roll! I have so much energy!

  3. 2 degrees from my S Node, 7th house. I intend to use this emotional energy to push past my past … as in, face & embrace my new freedom (and responsibility!) after my mother’s passing. (I was her companion/POA for 12 years in my home town.)

  4. That New Moon creates only favorable aspects within my chart. The New Moon will be sextile (within 1 degree) natal Venus, and exactly trine Saturn!

  5. 7th House conj. my Vertex….and Ap. 5 is a Friday, ruled by Venus (I read somewhere🙃) Ah…love is in the air. BREATHE 🤠!!

  6. Conjoins my north node right on my descendant, opposing Mercury/Neptune. I am trying to muster the energy and desire to recommit. Why do I feel like falling back on my south node?
