Astrology Quotes: Gemini In Their Own Words

Mercury ruled Gemini is known for its mental dexterity and its dual nature. Some say they are naturally bisexual. Others say asexual. I see Gemini as sort of ambidextrous in all ways. The sign is changeable, almost always intellectually sophisticated but often flighty. Easily bored, they hate being bogged down and always on the look out for something “interesting”.

And as a child, we have such a wonderful thing as children that we can just make the best of everything, and say, well this must be what everybody else is experiencing, and I’ve got to make the best of it. You don’t know that it’s not good until you witness something that it seems better.
Anne Heche

I’m basically a sexless geek. Look at me, I have pasty-white skin, I have acne scars and I’m five-foot-nothing. Does that sound like a real sexual dynamo to you?
Mike Myers

I discovered that my normally hyper personality and movements are completely unsuitable for apes. I was in danger of flunking ape school at first until I began to get in touch with my inner ape!
Helena Bonham Carter

I preferred not to be laden down with a big instrument. If you’re behind a guitar, you get used to being behind a guitar, and you don’t really perform because you can’t. I wanted to be able to just hold on to the mike and sing.
Stevie Nicks

“But I’m a Gemini, so I change my mind every day.”
Natalie Portman

It’s just that I can’t see how any woman can find time to do to herself all the things that must apparently be done to make herself beautiful and, having once done them, how anyone without the strength of mind of a foreign missionary can keep up such a regime.”

  5. I’ve a much younger sister with Sun and Mars in Gemini. She is always saying, “Got to motor.” She’s got some place to go all the time. I think it is a left over 80’s expression. Busy, busy, busy…

  10. Second thoughts on Gemini, or ilLIBRIAted.

After I reread my previous comment, I realized that I should not let a couple of rotten apples spoil the whole barrell. So I thought that I should take stock of some of the Geminis in my life. It dawned on me that my Grandma, who will turn 90 this year, is a Gemini. She is one of the sweetest, most optimistic, fair minded and intelligent people I know. Talk about seeing life on the bright side! She should have an honourary PHD in this!

I have some wonderful clients that are Gemini’s. Very kind, very thoughtful, easy to be around etc.

I have a sister in law who is Gemini. Although she drives me nuts with some of the ridiculous stuff she says, she has incredible heart energy and is very family oriented so I am so happy that she married my brother! [His first marriage was to the wicked witch of the west.]

Brother in law- kind generous, but changes his mind like the wind. His favourite saying is, ‘Plans have changed’

Uncle- got it together later in life. Very funny. Life of the party.

Mother in Law- Sometimes very smart, sometimes not so much so. Very Loving. Has held it together very well considering some of the challenges she’s faced.

Do you know any Gemini’s like these?

I will not dwell on the negative geminis in my life, because after a second look they seem to be the exception and they really must have some other chart afflictions.

Do you know any Gemini’s like this?

  11. Incidentally, Natalie Portman has a Virgo moon and you can really see it, more than the Gemini in my opinion. She is adorable.

  15. some Dylan

    Ah get born, keep warm
Short pants, romance, learn to dance

    Twenty years of schoolin’
And they put you on the day shift

  22. Ooh! That first quote by Anne Heche is spot on for a good Gemini friend of mine! In fact, he just said something very strikingly similar to that this past weekend. LOL!

  23. Ha ha Anne Heche. I had a resident rat that a cat brought in, never died, and lived in my spare bedroom, where the bags of cat food are kept, but no one believed me. But then I’d walk into the kitchen at night and see a shadow rat leap off the counter, in front of 4 sleeping cats??? No one believed me…

Well eventually, in the middle of the night that rat got busted by my eldest, he was squealing, I threw on rubber gloves to get the rat out of my cat’s teeth. Well the rat bit me right though the rubber gloves, T God I didn’t need to get rabies shots. I carried the rat who had been living high on the hog for several months, over to a vacant lot and let it go.

So I posted something on FB to the effect of, If I am foaming at the mouth and want to run over and bite my neighbor’s leg, is this normal? And an astute friend replied, “only if you are Anne Heche”

I know from Gemini’s, I have 2 sisters and a brother in Gemini, All make a living in the “arts” 2 are very successful, the other is so productive and talented, but has emotional issues..

  24. I love Gemini men and both of my brothers are Gemini (born on the same day separated by a 4 year gap). My descendant is Gemini. I’m a Scorpio.
I love their minds…they can think like a woman. Of all the signs, I find Gemini men don’t sexualize women. Their communication skills are unbeatable and they seem to leap into conversation either by inference, innuendo or direct invitation.

  25. I know this is an older post but this came out in conversation yesterday and it needs to be here

“I know what they say about going black but I’ve not found that to be true. I’m more of a Skittles girl, ya know?”
