Mercury ruled Gemini is known for its mental dexterity and its dual nature. Some say they are naturally bisexual. Others say asexual. I see Gemini as sort of ambidextrous in all ways. The sign is changeable, almost always intellectually sophisticated but often flighty. Easily bored, they hate being bogged down and always on the look out for something “interesting”.
And as a child, we have such a wonderful thing as children that we can just make the best of everything, and say, well this must be what everybody else is experiencing, and I’ve got to make the best of it. You don’t know that it’s not good until you witness something that it seems better.
I’m basically a sexless geek. Look at me, I have pasty-white skin, I have acne scars and I’m five-foot-nothing. Does that sound like a real sexual dynamo to you?
I discovered that my normally hyper personality and movements are completely unsuitable for apes. I was in danger of flunking ape school at first until I began to get in touch with my inner ape!

I preferred not to be laden down with a big instrument. If you’re behind a guitar, you get used to being behind a guitar, and you don’t really perform because you can’t. I wanted to be able to just hold on to the mike and sing.
“But I’m a Gemini, so I change my mind every day.”
Have a Gemini quote? Post it!
People are just jealous because i change my mind all the time and i always get everything right. I’m simply a proud gemini!
“a young heart and an old soul, how can there be peace. How can I rest in the depths of solitude when there are 2 inside of me. THIS DUO WITHIN ME CAUSES THE PERFECT OPPORTUNITY TO LEARN AND LIVE TWICE AS FAST AS THOSE WHO ACCEPT SIMPLICITY” – Tupac Shakur (The Rose that Grew From Concrete)

“It’s not that I don’t want to be a beauty, that I don’t yearn to be dripping with glamour. It’s just that I can’t see how any woman can find time to do to herself all the things that must apparently be done to make herself beautiful and, having once done them, how anyone without the strength of mind of a foreign missionary can keep up such a regime.”

“Let’s go to Claire’s, I’m all outta sparkly stuff.” – My Gemini best friend.
I’ve a much younger sister with Sun and Mars in Gemini. She is always saying, “Got to motor.” She’s got some place to go all the time. I think it is a left over 80’s expression. Busy, busy, busy…
Funny too how Natalie Portman as a twin in the starwars movie in actress Keira Knightley who dresses as a decoy queen.
“Got to motor.” from *Heathers*!!
good looking bunch… and smart too. i would like to meet some geminis like that… the ones in my life must have something else going on in their charts.
I never sit down to write. When I’m moved, I do it. I just wait for it to come. You just hear it. I can’t really describe writing. It’s in my head.
Sometimes I just have a lot of words to say but they don’t mean anything.
~my four year old gemini neighbor
OH yes my bf was a gemini. And those were some fun times. Talk about always having entertainment. If everyone had one good gemini friend they would not watch as much tv, nor go the movies near so much.
Second thoughts on Gemini, or ilLIBRIAted.
After I reread my previous comment, I realized that I should not let a couple of rotten apples spoil the whole barrell. So I thought that I should take stock of some of the Geminis in my life. It dawned on me that my Grandma, who will turn 90 this year, is a Gemini. She is one of the sweetest, most optimistic, fair minded and intelligent people I know. Talk about seeing life on the bright side! She should have an honourary PHD in this!
I have some wonderful clients that are Gemini’s. Very kind, very thoughtful, easy to be around etc.
I have a sister in law who is Gemini. Although she drives me nuts with some of the ridiculous stuff she says, she has incredible heart energy and is very family oriented so I am so happy that she married my brother! [His first marriage was to the wicked witch of the west.]
Brother in law- kind generous, but changes his mind like the wind. His favourite saying is, ‘Plans have changed’
Uncle- got it together later in life. Very funny. Life of the party.
Mother in Law- Sometimes very smart, sometimes not so much so. Very Loving. Has held it together very well considering some of the challenges she’s faced.
Do you know any Gemini’s like these?
I will not dwell on the negative geminis in my life, because after a second look they seem to be the exception and they really must have some other chart afflictions.
Do you know any Gemini’s like this?
Incidentally, Natalie Portman has a Virgo moon and you can really see it, more than the Gemini in my opinion. She is adorable.
I’m telling on myself here ….. *grin*
(in the middle of telling a story or talking to friends something will catch my eye and it sounds like this) So we got on the bus to come back home and *head turns* oooooooh shiny! *head turns back* this guy was on the bus who just …….

Fame will go by and, so long, I’ve had you, fame. If it goes by, I’ve always known it was fickle. So at least it’s something I experience, but that’s not where I live.

Get dressed, get blessed

Gawd, what don’t Gemini say? Their mouths are always moving. 😀
Not always Luci. But when we shut up people start asking what we’re up to. At least they do that to me. I need to practice my innocent up to nothin’ look. 😀

Ha Ha Amy! So true, and so well said . . .
Machado de Assis was a great writer with a wonderful sense of humor. He had Mercury in Gemini too. 🙂

If you make an appointment with a Gemini you will know when he/she will certainly will not be there…
Ooh! That first quote by Anne Heche is spot on for a good Gemini friend of mine! In fact, he just said something very strikingly similar to that this past weekend. LOL!
Ha ha Anne Heche. I had a resident rat that a cat brought in, never died, and lived in my spare bedroom, where the bags of cat food are kept, but no one believed me. But then I’d walk into the kitchen at night and see a shadow rat leap off the counter, in front of 4 sleeping cats??? No one believed me…
Well eventually, in the middle of the night that rat got busted by my eldest, he was squealing, I threw on rubber gloves to get the rat out of my cat’s teeth. Well the rat bit me right though the rubber gloves, T God I didn’t need to get rabies shots. I carried the rat who had been living high on the hog for several months, over to a vacant lot and let it go.
So I posted something on FB to the effect of, If I am foaming at the mouth and want to run over and bite my neighbor’s leg, is this normal? And an astute friend replied, “only if you are Anne Heche”
I know from Gemini’s, I have 2 sisters and a brother in Gemini, All make a living in the “arts” 2 are very successful, the other is so productive and talented, but has emotional issues..
I love Gemini men and both of my brothers are Gemini (born on the same day separated by a 4 year gap). My descendant is Gemini. I’m a Scorpio.
I love their minds…they can think like a woman. Of all the signs, I find Gemini men don’t sexualize women. Their communication skills are unbeatable and they seem to leap into conversation either by inference, innuendo or direct invitation.
I know this is an older post but this came out in conversation yesterday and it needs to be here
“I know what they say about going black but I’ve not found that to be true. I’m more of a Skittles girl, ya know?”
I just watched the outtakes of Monsters vs. Aliens and this guy asked Hugh Laurie, “Who would you rather be, a monster or an alien?” And he said, “Do I have to choose? I think there’s a monster and an alien in all of us.”
