Today is the the day! The moon will be full at 17 degrees Scorpio, in the early morning on Thursday, May 7th. Full moons are exciting. They’re romantic. They’re also also sexy and they bring us together.
How? Because we’re all looking at the same moon. And in this case, it’s a supermoon. Why not see this in a positive way?
Some full moons are trashed. They seem dangerous. That’s not the case here. The moon will oppose the Sun and Mercury in Taurus. Something will come to light. It’s possible that it be garbage but it’s just likely it be healing. Some kind of deep insight.
It’s hard to read this because while the moon is aspected, none of the aspects are tight. In a situation like this, you’ve got to look further out for what might tilt this thing in a certain direction. I tried this but the full moon in Scorpio remains mysterious!
- The moon catches support from Pluto in Capricorn; it’s a sextile, more than seven degrees apart.
- The moon squares Mars in Aquarius, with nine degrees separating. Whatever affect this might have would be unpredictable (Aquarius).
This is why I feel you’ll probably have a lot to say about your experience under this full moon.
Mars in Aquarius spells. “free will”.
Mercury is involved so there’s a duality about this full moon. You can go one way or the other but I’m not so sure you can go back and forth. These are Fixed signs and Mercury in Taurus is not exactly light on it’s feet.
Personally, I think I’ll dig for info under the full moon. Or maybe I’ll write. But I’d not be afraid of this.
Without a doubt, what you think will affect how you feel. This may be one of those situations where you have to decide whether to feed the light or the shadow.
Keep in mind, Mercury also rules siblings and neighbors. However it goes, you can expect to be deeply stirred.

Elsa, perhaps you already know this, but Carl Jung said that there’s a burst of energy in the year after the death of a parent. I have found that to be true in my life. I’m sorry you’ve lost your daddy.
Btw, this full moon conjuncts my natal Jupiter in the first house. Maybe I can stop eating carbs like we’re all gonna die so why not.

Conjunct my natal moon conjunct Neptune in Scorpio in the fourth house… The moon is at 26, Neptune at 12…my sun and Mercury are ar 2deg and 6 deg in Taurus on the midheaven… I think at this stage I will be putting my artistic website together, and yes, thinking about what I want to write…family is involved as am going to go and look after my mother for a couple of weeks
