Full Moon in Cancer: January 1, 2018 – A Great Start To A New Year

The full moon in Cancer takes place in the evening on New Year’s day.  The moon is part of major Kite. Please note the green lines (indicating harmony) between the planets or grouping of planets I’ve circled in black. Click to see full size.

As you can see, most of the planets are involved in the Kite. The planets that are not involved (Mercury and Uranus) form a trine. This is looking quite good.

It’s as if many, if not most, will realize we’re in this together. This is a great relief to me, personally. The Uranus Pluto square has shredded the lives of so many; ripped our hearts apart. I see unity in this chart.

I like that the Moon is in her home sign, as is Mars, Saturn and Neptune.  We can all work with this, if we choose to. This truly will be a HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Who’s with me on this?

  1. What a way to start the new year. With a full moon! A sign that 2018 will be crazy? You know what they say about the night of a full moon! May be an omen that 2018 will be crazy!

  2. This moon is right on my Cancer Sun/Merc in 8H Natal.Im ending a 28 year marriage and just paid my EX his buy out money. I own my house free and clear at this juncture. I will file the new deed on Wednesday 1/3/18! This is one ending that will segue into a whole new beginning for me.

  3. Sounds like this is the best news we’ve had in a long, long time. Thank you Elsa, and have an enlightened and productive New Year.

  4. I hope so, My husband has a second opinion for his disease, maybe this doctor can see the potential for some treatment. This Dr.is one of the top drs. in the treatment of IPF.

  5. Oh I hope so,saturn’s on my moon, opposite husband’s sun, moon, uranus stellium in cancer. Looks like a little faith will ease the transit.

  6. I’m with you Elsa…thank you and Satori for your service to humanity. It’s priceless what you two are doing here. It’s real. Wishing you health and all the best. Thank you

  7. Sounds really good!
I hope it brings relief, improvement, solutions and all forms of happiness for everyone.
    Thanks for the uplifting message!

  8. Wow, this is cool. Very welcome after all the strife. And before the January 2020 stellium. Concentrating on shoring up bigtime before then.

  9. So it will be a good lunar return for me? Life has its bumps but overall very even. So what am I talking about ‘good’? I wonder what that means.

  10. It seems it will “activate” my own Grand Water Trine (Mars, Jupiter and Saturn – orb is a little off thought). T-Jupiter will also be exactly on top my North Node (7th), t-Saturn is trining my Sun…. I hope it’s good. I really want to learn to go with the flow, I don’t know why it’s so hard for me since I have a lot of Water. Maybe my Virgo placements + Taurus rising overpower the rest… or my Cardinal placements.

Pluto has also been squaring my Venus for a long time now, but so far the changes it has brought me have been internal only (and weirdly I felt completely in charge, not like I was forced to do them).

    Happy about the good news

    • Nah, I shouldn’t have gotten so hopeful. Although part of learning to go with the flow is trusting in the universe so I don’t know what to do. I felt horrible at yesterday’s NYE party for various reasons and today I was just discouraged.

  11. Lots of emotions that could play out as obsessive/needy, controlling, masochistic with Mars conjunct Jupiter in Scorpio, supermoon Cancer opposite Pluto in Capricorn and boundaryless deceptive Neptune in Pisces involved.

Id be careful whose bed you end up in, and under what emotional motivation and chemical influence…and be careful with S&M tendencies 😉

Women and sexual assault will probably be front and centre in the news again.

I note that Berlin has set up a ‘safe’ zone for women this New year.
