Confused Taurus Or Merely Lazy?

This morning, Vidroid was on my computer, the soldier in the same room on a laptop – I’d been cleaning up the kitchen from last night’s dinner during a low ebb of my cold. The living room is a mess courtesy the sleepover with the Aquarian so I came in to be a Mom.

“Vid, you have to get off the computer and have some breakfast. I also want you to clean up the mess in the living room because it’s all yours. Clean if before you go over to Aquarian’s or he comes over here and for sure before you leave for the weekend.”

“But I can’t find the mess,” he said simply.

I glanced at the soldier, who had his eyebrows raised behind Vid’s back, mouth open guffawing silently. I rolled my eyes.

“Well I’ll be able to help you with that. Yeah, I will be happy to help you, let’s go.”

  1. I am a Taurus, Pisces rising and I have a totally opposite perspective on what is messy (in comparison to my Taurus, Virgo rising mother.) That said, and truth be told, I am lazy as all get out when it comes to housework. She, on the other hand, is not. In general, however, I would say Taurus would err on the side of lazy. Even with Pisces rising, I cannot genuinely say that I can’t see (through the Virgo rising eyes) where the ‘mess’ is.

  2. For what it’s worth, I am not a Virgo rising and it is not his space, it is common space – The living room. I don’t bother him at all about his space which is his room. But I get your drift!

  3. Virgo-rising parents are stressful on us Taurus children. We’re perfectly capable of getting our spaces “clean-enough,” but they seem to have steeper standards. 🙂

  4. Taurus loves beauty, so usually we will pick up a space on our own, naturally. Unless we are being lazy… I can remember times when i wanted somthing to eat, but only if you get it for me… in other words i’m too lazy to get up and get it … this can opperate on many levels, with almost anything, so my take is to let him know what you expect from that shared space. Or explain it is a shared space and needs to be kept clean.
