Check Yourself – Are You Headed In The Right Direction?

Jeez, it’s been an odd summer.  But things are beginning to straighten out now and there are a lot of positive indicators, personally speaking.

For one thing, it’s been a year since this site was so badly hacked.  We worked hard to lock it down and the security systems we have in place have held. No small feat!

There has also been a huge concern about the forum. The developers are retiring. This means there would be no one to keep the software updated.  It’s taken months but there is a transition underway now.   It’s tremendously relieving.  The back-end of this site is hard to manage. This is particularly true in my case since I am not technically inclined!

That said, I do appreciate the pressure. It forces me to learn new things. I am more aware than ever, how a person’s skills degrade when they’re not put to use.  I highly recommend a person challenge themselves.  Also, with Jupiter heading into Sagittarius, it’s a great time to open doors and try new things.

My husband and I have also stepped up to work with a new group of kids.  I’ve had a lot of clients who are dealing with an “empty nest” at this time. If you’re a strong parent (like my husband and I), you really need an outlet – plus you do have something to offer and a place in this world.

The traffic to this blog and also to the forum, is on the rise.  I’m really glad. It’s good for everyone; the people who contribute and/or work here, as well as those who visit.

I’m been blogging nearly 20 years now. I’ve maintained this particular site for almost 15 years.  My experience is paying off at this point. It’s easier for me to keep things real and upbeat and positive.

My hip surgery has helped me in numerous ways. My Lupus is under control via Plaquenil and behavior modification. I don’t know if I am going to ever get the Transit Calendar fixed, but I am trying.

If this inspires you in any way, and you’re inclined to help this site continue to exist and grow stronger, please support our efforts by linking content that you like.

More and more, people are charging for content or the ability to participate in discussions. I have no intention of doing that, but the fact is, it’s getting more and more expensive to maintain the site, the forum and the newsletter as the various plugins move away from one-time purchase and require a subscription. Maybe you enjoy this site and you have for years. You can always pitch in to help maintain it, via a one time or monthly donation. Tips.

I feel I am moving in the right direction.  What about you?  Are you on track or do you need to check yourself?

I very much am. But my Saturn in my 5th makes me very suspicious. I feel so strongly about the diraction but have hit a wall before. Now its more like the pain of NOT changing is greater than any pain I might feel making the change. Its all good.

  2. Thank you for this. I am on track. My direction is clear and I’m seeing my hardwork pay off. I have purpose, and focus. I’m happy.

  3. Chiron is squaring my sun. So even though the direction should be clear, it’s painful. I’m confronted with past hurts even when taking the bus…

  4. You know what would be great, Elsa?
If you had a Chiron workshop or report available. I know Satori includes it in the asteroid report, but it’s more significant than the other asteroids.

  5. I am glad to hear this after all that’s gone on for you. And at the same time, it brought tears. Because I wish I was on the right track, or it felt like it and it actually held. It’s been so very long and no direction seems the right one. So many false starts. Blocks in every direction, still. So tired.

    1. Ah, thank you, Elsa. Just feeling ridiculously sorry for myself for a moment re my continuing unemployment. It’s passed now. I have a lot to be grateful for, and I am.

I’m hopeful that better things are headed my way. I have felt like the ‘stuckness’ has eased a bit, however, plagued with fear of which path to take. What if it’s the wrong one… again? Or is that the lesson that keeps reappearing? Time for a reading perhaps…

  7. hahaha, as if I have a choice in direction 😉

though I am glad for those who do feel a relief from the intensity of this past summer. I am headed home in a few days so that’s progress of a sort. I’ll take it. With gratitude.
