My sister lost her job a month ago and I wonder if something is gonna show up soon. She has depression and the routine of a job is something she really needs.

The next full moon seems to be related to career and job, what do you think?

- TR Full Moon in 6th house squares MC in 9th, Libra.

- TR Jupiter conjunct MC and sextile Sun, 11th.

- TR Jupiter (22°) and MC (23°) loosely conjunct Pluto (18°).

- TR Uranus conjunct IC, opposite Pluto.

- TR Saturn conjunct Sun, sextile Pluto.

- TR Sun squares MC.

Thanks in advance!

Fascinating the uranus conjunct IC opp pluto, radical transformation possibly in how she acts breaking away more from family traditions and becoming more empowered in a responsible way with saturn conj sun and sextile pluto. Thinking she doesn't have what it takes but confronting limitations and maturity needed to grow up more.

The full moon in sixth house of work squaring libra mc to me confronts being a nice unassuming person who turns up to a system and quietly works. It's hard to break out of the employee mentality and humble thing when you've been used to that role for a fair while.

Saturn is maybe internalising the need for her to create some more of her own systems to show up to or work for herself more assertively at least part time in good relationship to a group with jupiter on the mc sextile sun in 11th. Elsa's saturn workshop could be good for her.

What's going on with your Sister's Natal and Progressed Moon? I think this is something that has to be addressed, since you mention the depression. Because unfortunately even if one is able to get out of the bed and go to work, this may mean the performance is worse than expected, and there will be problems. I have some friends who have a long history of depression, and this does, unfortunately, have an effect on cognitive functions too. For instance, a girl who used to read 2-3 books a week couldn't finish one for years when the situation was at its' worse. She now can, but isn't still fit to work more than 4 hours a day, according to curing doctors. So, it's really important to see where your sister really is and what kind of a work could help her, instead of making the situation worse.

I'm also saying this because  Full Moon square MC  solution that'll present itself now is only temporary, and could make her feel worse. I see Jupiter transiting MC, and later 10th house as indicative of a more profound change. For instance,  it could be loosing that job was "the stroke of luck" Jupiter gave to her. I'm telling this because I have Jupiter conjunct MC in the 9th house, Gemini, natally. I've tracked my Progressed Moon for quite a while, and was expecting Progressed Moon conjunct MC early 2015 thinking that I'd find a job that didn't make me feel emotionally exhausted on daily bases, and might even liked. What happened was I got sick, and doctors even suspected  I had depression and anxiety disorder. It turned out I didn't, but I have a chronic condition that needed to be taken cared of. In the next year or so, I lost my job too, and decided to go back to school instead of accepting the demotion  - same pay, but a boring job - I was offered. I have to say, this was the best decision careerwise I've ever made. I'm on a "fast track" course meaning it's does get hectic and stressful at times. But  that's fine with me, in fact, I love it! It's only now I realize how much all the emotional carbage I was exposed to decentered me. Turned out it  works pretty well, financially, too. And by Summer 2018 I should be much more equipped to re-enter job market finding a job that won't wear me down, and earning up to 20K more a year I did previously. If there's another global economic downturn, I still have a degree that's actually useful.

There's definitely power of transformation here, but as reba33 said, maybe the best way to go is not that of going back to "the system", other options should be considered, too.

Thanks Reba, Uranus is in her IC since at least one year, in the past 3 years she lost a longtime job, broke up with a longtime boyfriend, moved twice, started a new job, had a mental breakdown in June after switching doctors and medications, and finally lost the job last month.

Those were the hardest times for her and my family too, she's in treatment since past June and improving little by little, but this setback doesn't help.

I really hope Saturn brings something positive to her life, maybe she realizes that her happiness can't be put on others hands, she needs to work for what she wants.

Candela, thanks for sharing your story, I wish she would consider going back to college, but she's 38 years old and time is passing fast, she needs monetary stability, in my country 40+ people can't find decent jobs.

Her natal Moon is in the 5th house, in Gemini, opposing Mercury and Neptune (11th), sextile Jupiter (7th), square Saturn (8th), trine Pluto (9th) and AC (1st).

Her progressed Moon is in Libra, 8th house, square Mercury, sextil Neptune, conjunct Pluto.

Here are the aspects:

OK, well, a full moon across her 12/6 house axis probably not going to be making her little miss eager beaver.

Well, with Jupiter in her 9th, going back to school would be stability she needs, and if she's having job problems now with her issues, it isn't going to get any better after 40 without extra schooling.

Progressed moon in her 8th is not going to be that much fun. I suspect she might make more progress next month during the eclipse activities. But you're going to have to accept that with Uranus in her 4th she's going to have problems for a few years.
