I do consultations by email, charging the same rate as I do over the phone and this works very well. Basically, you outline your concerns and I write back, my lines between yours marking my time. You are not charged for preparation or any kind of study. I only track the time when I am actually writing.

We can start with 30 minutes (which is often sufficient) and buy more time if necessary. I am pretty good at getting the job done in the time allotted and I am very flexible.

For example, we can spend the time going back and forth or if you prefer as many do, I can deliver all at once.

I am an intense person and some people prefer to consult by email even if they are local to me (United States) and can easily call. I used to think the phone was the way to go but now realize there are circumstances where consulting by email is preferable. People are used to my writing, and sometimes this is more comfortable for them and therefore productive. If you think this describes you, please use this option. I have been surprised at how well it works.
