Frida and Diego: Stormy Artistic Love and Fate by Cortney Litwin
Cortney Litwin - Enjoy!
“Although the marriage between Mexican artists Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera was a stormy one - filled with both passion and betrayal - their love endured for 25 years until Kahlo’s death at 44 from a long illness. They were both superbly talented and fiery in temperament. Monumental clashes of wills resulted in numerous extramarital affairs (women for him, men and women for her).Ten years into the marriage, they divorced, only to remarry a year later. So what compelled them to stay together? Their love, as they say, was written in the stars…

“If you want to see where your artistic talent is in your chart, start with the Fifth House. The Fifth covers all forms of creativity, fun and doing spontaneous things such as painting or having sex. David Gilmour & “On the Turning Away” By Twilight
Learning Curve On The Ecliptic - Enjoy!
“I can’t pretend to be a Pink Floyd fan, in general their style wasn’t “my cup of tea”. I guess I’m basically square in musical preferences. However, there is one song of theirs which I like a lot: “On the Turning Away”, co-written and sung by David Gilmour.

Astrological Clues to Your Writing Niche - Are You Mysterious? Romantic? Down to Earth? By Donna Cunningham
Donna Cunningham - Enjoy!
“”The astrology clients I most enjoy working with are professional wordsmiths who want to maximize their potential. Among the many functions chart readings can serve for writers-or potential writers-is to identify their personal niche among the endless topics covered by books, articles, and other media. The chart can also provide clues to their style and the conditions most conducive to getting the writing done. For instance, a Pluto or Scorpio writing signature would show a
person who needs solitude and long uninterrupted stretches to devote to their work, while someone with a strong Libra or 7th house writing signature might blossom with a collaborator…”

Venus in music - conclusions by Astro Skies
Astro Skies - Enjoy!
Venus by Pietro Vannucci
Now that all the 12 signs have been looked at through the light of Venus and music lyrics, it’s time to wrap it up with a few conclusions.
The aim of this study was to verify the influence of the songwriters’ Venus signs in their musical lyrics. I wanted to know if the way they love (Venus) was translated in what they wrote about love. But as I wrote the articles, my goal was more and more about explaining each Venus sign while using the lyrics to illustrate it…”

Outlaw Music: Hippie Rock meets Country Western
“Sadly, the last few years have seen the passing of two of the greats of modern country music: Waylon Jennings and Johnny Cash. As the movie ’The Dukes of Hazzard’ hit the silver screen, I was reminded of the singer of its theme song -Waylon Jennings. The last few lines of that tune sum up the impact of Jennings’ career. “Just good ole’ boys, wouldn’t change if they could -fightin’ the system like two modern day Robin Hoods…”"

Music Through the Zodiac: A Game by Kathryn C. Donovan
Kathryn C. Donovan - Enjoy!
It’s my personal mission to take astrology out of the head and into the body, because I don’t think it really helps or transforms unless you’re feeling it. So in my workshops, I try to play music that reflects the energy of the sign we’re discussing. But I’ve realized over the last year that my musical repertoire is rather limited. Also, I’m not very hip. So I called out for input from a few astute music lovers among my friends. Below are the bands they associated with each sign, preceded by the brief sign description I provided to get their juices flowing…”

Astrology Book Review: Astrological Roots: The Hellenistic Legacy (Joseph Crane) by Nina Gryphon
Nina Gryphon - Enjoy

“There are not many modern books out there that teach traditional astrology, and that give an accurate representation of what is actually in traditional texts. Astrological roots is such a book. It is a summary of Hellenistic astrology, that is, astrology as recorded by the Greeks 2000 years ago. The book appears written with two goals in mind; first, to give an overview of Hellenistic astrological techniques, and second, to demonstrate these techniques on a multitude of charts. The book stops short of being a true how-to manual, like John Frawley’s The Horary Textbook, for example.
