ElsaElsa » Astrology Today: “I Think I Love You”

November 23rd, 2008 @ 5:00 am by ElsaElsa

My eye on the sky

davidcassidy.jpgThe sun Mercury and Mars are in Sagittarius and people are sort of preachy. I would definitely not expect anyone to hold their tongue. Basically, people have opinions they are going to broadcast.

Venus is in Capricorn trining Saturn and relationships if you are in one are very serious. Some are deprived of relationship in this is also taken seriously today. But the plot thickens with the Moon in the Venus-ruled sign of Libra trining Neptune.

This is sort of like taking a room full of people in business attire and getting them drunk on their ass. And if you have ever been to a party like that then you know all kinds of things can happen.

Hopefully you’ve had a chance to catch your breath over the past couple of days, because things are moving into high gear. There’s an interesting set of alignments in the sky this weekend with the energy definitely shifting towards tangible proof of having something to hope for and work towards.

With the heavy Scorpio energy the past few weeks, its been a time for confronting deeply personal issues in a spirit of letting go. Issues surrounding our finances, emotional commitments, intimacy, sexuality have been the focus. But Scorpio is a sign that promises soul transformation; where we’ve been willing to dive deep we’re likely to have found pearls of wisdom.

Sagittarius is the sign that represents spirituality, God and the divine. After having faced our own mortality and darkness in Scorpio, now we’re left with an essence of something real, eternal that resonates with a higher truth. As the Sun passes through…

It’s another quiet day in the cosmos; the Moon is now in Virgo, tomorrow Saturn and Jupiter will form an exact trine, and Eros sextiles them both. If we’ve been working hard towards our passion with integrity and commitment we are likely to see just how far and wide those roots have spread.

With the Moon in Virgo it’s best to keep our nose to the grindstone and chip away at those projects. Today is also the last day of the Sun in Scorpio so surrender is another strong theme of the day. Once the Sun joins Mars and Pluto in Sagittarius things are likely to pick up speed, so consider this your last day underground.

Clean house — mentally, physically and emotionally, we’re about to take flight…

Priya Kale » Uranus trines Eros

November 23rd, 2008 @ 2:10 am by Priya Kale

Dear Friends and Readers,

As you may have noticed - I’ve had a terrifying day with WordPress. I thought I lost the blog with months of writing… BUT all is well now, and we can get back to the aspects….

It was a relatively quiet sky today (Tuesday evening as I write) with no major aspects between planets. The Moon continues her journey through Leo and is now past the South Node and opposes Neptune and Chiron in Aquarius. There may be a feeling of being pulled between what you want and what is expected of you. If we can release selfish desires and focus on creating and loving for the sheer joy of it, we may be able to find this crucial balance

Overnight Uranus trines Eros an aspect that should spill its energy through the day. Eros’ energy can be deeply erotic and passionate, it represents the electric creative energy that is…

Scorpioland » Free the Sag! Release. Britney. Now.

November 23rd, 2008 @ 2:00 am by Scorpioland

In a widely circulated interview for her upcoming MTV documentary– “Britney: For the Record” — Spears broke my heart by describing herself as being “jailed” and her life as being “Groundhog Day” everyday.
Yes. She looks good. She’s thinner, has a healthy glow, and looks …well, let’s face it, sane. But at what cost?

A Sagittarius cannot live on lockdown. It’s a short term remedy. Not gonna work Jamie Parnell Spears, or as I like to call him, the Crab Warden.

For a Sagittarius, freedom to rove without boundaries is as necessary as breathing.
I know she abused liberty before with drinking, drugging, partying, and Federlining but putting Britney in an overly structured environment is no way to cure her. This is when an astro-psychotherapist could really be helpful — someone who’s willing to look at Britney’s natal chart & her four planet Sagittarius stellium of Mercury, Sun, Uranus, and Neptune in HOUSE…

Astrochatter » Astrology Forecast 11/23/2008

November 22nd, 2008 @ 9:50 pm by Astrochatter

Sunday 11/23  You may have a desire to be with people you really enjoy at odds with certain responsibilities. For instance, you’ve an invitation that conflicts with a task you must accomplish. The ideal is to find balance and give yourself some of the recreation that will recharge you, but not at the cost of the obligation you must fulfill. It may be that you can reward yourself in the early evening with a concert or film after you’ve done some chores to organize the upcoming week.

Or you may be responsible for something that also puts you in contact with lovely people and/or pleasant surroundings. This may be a very satisfying day if you are comfortable juggling what you want to do with what you must do.

By evening things will be more relaxed. Quiet time with someone special is magic when the moon is in Libra. Or for a more…

45 years ago today, President John F. Kennedy was murdered in Dallas, TX by Lee Harvey Oswald. Though far from his choosing, Kennedy is forever linked to Oswald in history. In this blog, we’ll look at the central astrological theme between Kennedy and Oswald.

I have seen the combination of Uranus and Mars appear in instances of sudden violence repeatedly. It is no surprise to me how pronounced these planets are in looking at Kennedy (5/29/1917, 3pm, Brookline, MA) and Oswald (10/18/1939, 9:55pm, New Orleans, LA). JFK had his Uranus in Aquarius square Mars in Taurus, while Oswald had Uranus in Taurus square Mars in Aquarius. So, they had both Uranus and Mars triggering (no pun intended, sorry Jack) each other! If you cast a composite chart, you’ll find a Uranus/Mars conjunction in the 8th House, which is associated with not only death, but also with a variety of hurtful exchanges, including assassination.…
