What Planet’s Energy Do You Feel You Represent In The World?
Ask the collective Submit your own open question
Yesterday I had a consultation with a Pisces client and while she identifies with her Sun sign, she is a Capricorn rising with ruler Saturn part of a stellium in conjunct her ascendant and anyway you turn it, this woman is a Saturn figure. She is an parent / authority figure, plain and simple.
Other people are very Plutonian. You can’t get anywhere near them without being changed on a cellular level.
Others are strongly aligned with Jupiter. They cheer and expand you. They take you places you have never been… encourage you towards adventure.
Neptune types teach you to dream and escape the mundane, Mercurial people teach you think, something underrated, I’d say.
Moon types nurture and Venus types offer comfort, art, beauty and relationship.
Mars is a brave hero and solar types show us how to shine and be vitally alive.
Which of these energies do you feel you most represent?
The Glyphs for the Zodiac Signs by Nota
Notes from the Palace of Memory
Astrology uses a lot of little symbols called Glyphs. If you want to be able to read a chart, it is imperative that you learn to read the glyphs. When memorizing something new it helps to make a lot of little associations to other things. This will give you more trigger points to recall the information.
Here are a few personal examples from my own palace of memory to give you some ideas.

“What’s an Ophiuchus?” Part 2 by Nota
Your Basic Astrology Questions Answered
This is a continuation of a continuation. You can board this train of thought by reading earlier posts here.
Ok, so last time, I think I may have gotten off on a bit of a tangent. No biggie. Let’s see if we can get back to our question and reel this thing in. “What’s an Ophiuchus?”

“Has my Sign Changed?” Part 5 ~OR~ “What’s an Ophiuchus” Part 1 by Nota
Your Basic Astrology Questions Answered
This is a continuation of my series on the supposed changes in the Zodiac and claiming your personal responsibility in weighing the relativity of conceptual knowledge. How Saturn in Libra is that!
Peruse previous posts here.
Let’s return to our original idea from part 1. When we draw the ecliptic (that line that the Sun appears to travel along) on the sky, we cut through several “constellations.” Well, this begs the question “What is a constellation?”

Your Basic Astrology Questions Answered.
This is part 4 of a series addressing the recent hullabaloo over “changes” in the Zodiac and some things to consider before you have an identity crisis over it. You can get caught up to speed here: Part 1, Part 2 and Part 3.
Now, the part you’ve all been waiting for. Just so we’re crystal clear, let’s wrap this thing up by addressing the question directly: Has my sign changed?

Your Basic Astrology Questions Answered
This is a continuation of a piece that starts here: Part 1 and Part 2
Ok, so considering all that we’ve talked about so far, riddle me this:
How do you measure a year? Is it in daylights? In sunsets? In midnights? In cups of coffee?
Well, one way is we can observe a solar event such as the Vernal Equinox. From one Vernal equinox to the next Vernal equinox could be called a year, yes? I think so.
Another possible way we could do it would be to observe our position relative to the back drop of the stars. We pick a star and note our position. When we cycle back around to that position once again, that should be a year too.

Your Basic Astrology Questions Answered
This is a continuation of a piece I started yesterday: “Has My Sign Changed?” Part 1 You may want to read that one first.
Ok, so picking up where we left off… we’ve got this abstract wheel called the Zodiac that is based on the constellations of the same names, but regularized into neat little evenly spaced compartments because that’s easier to finagle, mathematically speaking. Everybody with me? Good.

Your Basic Astrology Questions Answered
There has been a lot of hubbub lately over some claims about shifts in the earth’s rotational axis and its relation to the signs. Everyone is wondering “Am I a different sign?”
Well… Yes and No.
Let’s see if we can shed some light on this subject before y’all run out and get your Gemini tattoos lasered off. We’ll start with some definitions.

The Zodiac In Color by satori
“In our life there is a single color, as on an artist’s palette, which provides the meaning of life and art. It is the color of love.”
-Marc Chagall
I started art lessons when I was six. The first thing I learned was that there were three primary colors, the mixture of which made up all colors. Later we were taught the color wheel, a visual representation of all color.
In astrology one starts by understanding the 12 signs of the zodiac. Later comes the art of blending relationships between the signs to create something new. How do you put together an Aries planet in aspect to a Scorpio planet? You blend them, as with color, and arrive at something unique.
The color wheel is analogous to the zodiac. Every chart has its own personal palette from which a great work of art may emerge.
