Astrology Today – Reality … But Not Too Much

My eye on the sky

odd couple virgo piscesThere are plenty of things talk about but what interests me most at the moment is the current (and coming) oppositions between Saturn in Virgo and planets in Pisces. I am going to try to make a video later today on this topic but for now I have this story.

The other day HQ and I found out the emails (Virgo) between us have been disappearing (Pisces) for weeks. We found a workaround and yesterday he mailed me to ask how I have been faring in my crisis. I have been telling him all along but the mails have been lost so he was catching up, I guess.

“Is it excruciatingly painful or are you (relatively) detached now?” he asked.

Double Virgo Woman Wonders About Motives Of Loving Double Pisces Man: Astrology-Based Advice

February 29th, 2008 @ 4:10 am by Elsa

Dear Elsa,

I am in a relationship with a double Pisces man. I am a double Virgo. We are very attracted to each other sexually, and he tells me he loves me but for some reason I keep asking myself what his motivation is. He is very sweet and we understand each other well. Is it normal to feel un-trusting towards him?

virgoDear Virgo,

I don’t like to decide what is normal. If you tend to be a person who does not easily trust then to be un-trusting is normal for you.

Now you’ve got a difficult chart and I think this is reflected in your relationship. Because you are having great sex with a man who is sweet and understanding yet you are suffering and this is the thing to investigate and try to alter. Judging from what you’ve written he’s done nothing to betray your trust or arouse your suspicion so where is this coming from?

You don’t have the chart of someone who is particularly paranoid but you do have the chart of someone with a high sex drive, probably interested in psychology, prone to worrying and get this: fantasizing.

And I don’t KNOW but if I was going to guess… considering his planets are opposite yours I would imagine it possible you have his motivation confused with your own. You are a born investigator see. So are you in the relationship for love… or something else?

And I am not judging this so don’t take it that way. What I am suggesting is that you are a very complex young woman so just keep asking questions like this one and you’re going to be fine.

Good luck.

Virgo vs Pisces: Unfortunately For the Confused, They’re Both Right!

January 4th, 2007 @ 10:14 am by Elsa

Astrology In Real Life…

virgo jugNow about the Virgo vs Pisces perspectives regarding my blog, after I had my ice cream, I realized there was no sense asking either of them anything! Because they’d both be absolutely right even when telling me opposite things:

Here’s the Virgo…

“What do you think about my blog here lately? How’s it coming across? Is it coming across? You know how I am. I’m losing track again. I have no idea what I’m doing.”

“Yeah it’s good. But you could do this and this and this and it would be even better. Plus I noticed this other thing and a few other things over here…”

And this feedback would be excellent. It would be completely correct.

Now here’s Pisces talking, the sign opposite Virgo:

pisces jug“Your blog?” There would be some hesitation. “It’s good. I think it’s very good. I wouldn’t worry about it if I were you. Whoever is supposed to get it will get it and whoever isn’t won’t…”

“So it makes sense, then?”

“Well it makes sense to me. I have no idea if it makes sense to other people. Most people don’t understand anything anyway. They understand what they want to understand the way they want to understand it, so they’ll read whatever they want to read regardless of what you write. So I wouldn’t worry about it at all. It really doesn’t matter what you do.”

See?

Do you have both Virgo and Pisces people in your life?

Astrology and Blogging: Virgo vs Pisces – Two Different Perspectives

January 3rd, 2007 @ 7:21 am by Elsa

Astrology In Real Life…

astrology cookbookThanks to astrology, I’ve been blogging daily for nearly six years. Once, twice, three times a day. So by now I’ve written thousands of blogs and it usually goes okay. But sometimes I write something really stupid. I just miss the boat somehow, or I write something that is stunningly inappropriate. Or sometimes I post something no one understands or can relate to at all!

And I don’t necessarily know it. Courtesy Saturn Neptune, it is notoriously hard for me to track myself so sometimes I ask my friends for feedback.

‘Was that understandable?” I ask. “Do you think that made any sense? I’m not sure that could be read or not. Is that something people can relate to, or did I fall off the page..?”

And yesterday I was wondering these type things about what I’ve been posting lately. And I was going to ask a Pisces friend what she thought. But I realized every time I ask her something like this, she tells me that whatever I wrote was fine! Every time! Hmm…

It hit me, she’s not really meant to be a critic. If I want to hear there are no problems… if I want fairy dust, then she’s the person to query. But if I want someone who is going to discern and pick my work apart, well I’ve got to find a Virgo, don’t I?

So I have a Virgo. HQ is a Virgo and further he is involved in this blog. So I thought about asking him but realized almost immediately I didn’t really want to know. Not at the moment anyway. I decided I’d rather stay in la la land, so I just had some ice cream and forgot about it.

When people contact you, are the looking for a fairy? Or a reality check?
