The Moon is in Taurus, goosed by Mars in Scorpio.  The soldier and I have been fighting (Mars) about food and mood (Moon) which describes the opposition.

It’s more banter than actual fighting and you can probably manage something similar if you try because never mind what they say, Taurus and Scorpio are magnetically attracted.

“No, I want to be a Scorpio!” the soldier said.

“But why? I already told you that you are a Scorpio (Moon). Why do you want to be a Scorpio?”

“Because I don’t want to be a bull!” he shouted.

“But why not?”

“P, do you think I like looking like this? Do you? There is something to that. You yourself said you did not want to look like me.”

“Well I don’t but that’s not what I meant. I meant I want to have a waist! I am a woman!”

“Well I am a man but maybe I’d like a waist too. I want to have a waist and I want to be mf Scorpio and that’s all I have to say on the subject!” he bellowed.

Er… I have been informed the soldier does not want a “waist”. He said he was being a smart ass… which is now obvious to me.

I have been trying to stop putting on weight for about six months now with absolutely no luck at all. Every day I get up intending to not eat the things I know I should not eat and every day I eat them. Then finally – Eureka – a breakthrough!The soldier was reminding me how it went back when we were kids and I got fat. I saw myself in the mirror one day and freaked! I had packed on about 50 extra pounds unbeknownst to myself (Neptoooon) but all the sudden the veil dropped and there I was.

You’re pretty demanding for a submissive type. ::smiles::

Your requirements are exacting and you don’t demand anyone conform to your standards, you just leave them when they fail to conform to your standards!

What you have is a chart full of oppositions. You have Venus opposite Neptune, various other sundries that all combine to create a hall of mirrors where the thing you are looking for is what you are and the thing that repels you is also what you are.

Does this preclude you from having a sex life? I doubt it. A relationship? No.

Does it preclude you from being a successful submissive? Yeah probably, seeing as you are as dominant as you are submissive… dang!

“I know you’re going to complain about the food,” I said, on the phone last night. “There is too much food.”

“Well, P, I am not going to complain. But I have enough food here to feed the Chinese army. If they show up hungry, I’m going to tell ‘em no problem. I can feed you guys. Here, eat! Have some of this!”

“Yeah, yeah.”

“Well I admit, sometimes I do wonder what could P have been thinking?”

“I am thinking this: Every time you say you’re hungry, I go to the store and get some food. It’s my nature! You’re hungry, I will feed you. And it makes no difference anyway because no matter what, you’ll complain.”

“I do?”

“Yeah. If I were to bring you a whole chocolate cake you say, blah, blah. The Chinese army. But then you eat the whole thing and call me up to say, P! P, I’m out of cake. I’m out of cake here. Boy, I wish I had some of that good cake you brought me that time!”

He laughed.

“Yeah, so hearing that, I go to the store and get you some cake. And if I don’t see you for awhile, those cakes stack up, I admit. But there is no way to win. You’re either going to be starving or fed and you’re going to complain either way so who cares? Eat the cake or not, I don’t care. It’s not like I’m going to check on you! Did you eat that cake? I could care less. I only care you have the choice and you say, P! You’re trying to kill me with all this food!” I wailed. “Next day you tell me, oh, P. You must love me. Look at this food you got me. So as you can see, you are crazy. This is irresolvable – End of story.”

Sounds like he’s active enough to burn it all off – and that’s great, but what fun is it to eat and not be full??

Actually, the solider doesn’t have a lick of fat on him anywhere and he never has. He is on the Taurus Sun opposite Scorpio Moon diet which means on Taurus days he eats like a glutton and I mean, he eats and eats and eats, then the Scorpio kicks in and he doesn’t eat so much as a scrap for a day or more…

“Eat!” I say.

“P, I said I’m not hungry so quit asking me if I want some food. If I want some food, I’ll let you know.”

ha ha ha.

You can see how this served him when he was in Special Forces. He could go a couple days crawling on his belly through the jungle… every once in awhile eat a bug and call it good.
