Astrology in Real Life…

astrology 2007 2008Oppositions are far and away my favorite thing in astrology.
This is a story about people on separate sides with something in common.

Genius and criminal mind, Arie, joined Special Forces as a teenager. He retired after one term (or whatever you call it) and went to work as a detective for the San Francisco Police Department for the next 30 years. One day he got a call.

Apparently some person or persons was in a gas station restroom, creating some kind of problem for the other customers so the owner of the station called the police.

The Soldier and The Professor – They Didn’t See Eye To Eye

August 24th, 2011 @ 10:02 am by Elsa

Astrology in real life

einstein.jpgFrom 2007 – More hi-jinks of the soldier’s Venus in Gemini (clever but bored) vs his 9th house Jupiter in Sagittarius (higher education)…

“I was in this class once the professor didn’t like me so much which was okay because I didn’t like him at all.”  I laughed. “Yeah, he thought something was wrong with me. This was pretty soon after I got out of the military and I guess I hadn’t quite assimilated back into regular culture. I still haven’t but I was even worse then and I messed up on the word association.”

“What were you studying?” Continue reading The Soldier and The Professor – They Didn’t See Eye To Eye

little dogFrom 2007: I was talking to the soldier, post a majot screaming match:

“P, you’re not the least bit afraid of me are you?”

“No.”

“Well that’s good. And it’s strange because I’m a dangerous bastard,” he said.  We both laughed.

Rooting For Someone To Die? Gambling On Life Insurance…

August 4th, 2009 @ 9:55 am by Elsa

Astrology in Real Life…

life insuranceSomething along these lines came up today and made me think of this old blog from 2007, so here it is.

The soldier’s Scorpio Moon talking to my 8th house, circa 2007:

“Yeah, well she must have thought I was going to die,” he said talking about his wife when he was in Special Forces. “Everyone else was dying. I think she was banking on it. Get the insurance money, you know? But I just kept coming back, still alive.”

I didn’t answer.

1 Minute Astrology – Criminal Mind: Spy Meets Spy In Beaver, Utah

July 5th, 2009 @ 7:44 am by Elsa

1 minute astrology that lasts five minutes

This is from 2007 when Pluto was turning direct in Sagittarius. It’s a Pluto-themed story (Sagittarius) and on topic for the current discussion on this blog which I intend to wrap up today.

Everyone in this story (including the motel guy) was a criminal. It was just that kind of day where you throw the dice and they land how they land…

houdiniSo HQ was tossing me cards, I was playing them and eventually others started to show up. I got some new friends and I started to build relationships with them. The friendships I already had got stronger and people in the gym started talking to me. All of this was slow. It was so incredibly slow.

For example, I went to the gym 4-5 times a week for almost 2 years before I lost a single pound! This is true. But once I got the weight to come off… well I was looking damned good underneath it, so big shock! I was still in the bad relationship though. I just couldn’t get out and no one could believe this.

titan missileThe soldier has been stopped for a day and a half. He is getting his truck serviced.

He happened to run into a fellow ex-missileer. I was aware of this because he has a framed poem, Missileer by Capt. Robert A. Wyckoff. He had me read it to him over the phone, as he repeated the lines for the other man who was standing by.

There are not that many missileers out there so I thought it pretty grand they ran into each other. Understanding that, maybe you can imagine my surprise at this:

3 Years Ago On The Elsa Blog: Scott vs Arie On People Changing Their Natures

June 7th, 2009 @ 12:16 pm by Elsa

Astrology in real life

death of a reprobateRunning with a divergent crowd the way I do, there are times you find you have friends you respect with opinions at opposite ends of the spectrum. For example, take Scott and genius, Arie (a pseudonym). They are both derangedly intelligent men, who are fully actualized. By that, I mean they,ve both developed into distinct people. Neither of them is going to get blown around all that much.

Scott believes that redemption is possible for all human beings. He believes in miracles, he has seen them occur. He has seen people come from the depths and turn their lives around.
