Interesting. I am only partly aware of why I keep so much from the soldier. If I told you my reasons they would be valid but they would also be surface like the tip of the iceberg. I don’t think I am going to have time this lifetime to visit this at any depth but I can tell you this: The things I keep from him are strange and I keep them from him and only him.

Now this is a Venus Neptune thing:- I conceal my tastes from him. I never pick a movie for example. We watch his movies only (80% war and 20% love stories). He would be happy to watch any movie I’d choose but I refuse to choose a movie for what it would reveal.

In contrast, my ex, the AMF and I would watch movies all the time. We’d see two or three a week at least and I would pick virtually every one of them. Go figure.

Hey psst. I feel like copping to this under the (well aspected) Scorpio Moon.

There is a blog I have read for years and years and years. The gal is a great writer but she’s just a ridiculous human being. She hates women, doesn’t think much of men and even her kid(s) suck because they act like their father… or her sister… or the neighbor… you get the idea. She on the other hand, has no flaws. None, damn it! None at all.

And for awhile there I guess I was waiting for her day of reckoning but five years later, I had to concede it would probably never come. And I thought about signing off at that time but decided she was way too valuable as an anti-example. I have every intention of reading her blog until the end of time. I never miss.

Do you have an anti-example in your life?

The soldier told me something shocking.

“I can’t believe you tell me these secrets,” I said, matter-of-factly.

“Well you keep my secrets, P,” he said with total assurance.

“No I don’t. I tell your secrets all the time. I don’t tell all of them but I tell a lot of them. I tell plenty of them. I am always telling your secrets, actually.”

“P! You do so keep my secrets!”

“What? What you are talking about? I do not keep your secrets so don’t think I do! Who do you think you’re talking to? You’re talking to a writer! I write about people and I write about you as you have got to be well aware since you’ve read some of it. And I know you’re not reading now but I’ve told you repeatedly that I’ve been writing about you incessantly, here lately. I am writing about you every day, pretty much.
