As to  what constitutes a “Plutonian” I would say it’s subjective and on a continuum. One astrologer may say that anyone with their Sun in Scorpio is “Plutonian” where I would put the bar much higher.

Dear Confused,

Scorpios can be faithful when they choose to be and are in fact well recognized as one of the most loyal signs in the zodiac. Matter of fact, I would be more apt to trust Scorpio than any of the other signs by far, so I don’t think this has to do with some shortcoming universal to Scorpio at all. I would like to know if Scorpio males can stay with someone if they are not truly in love. I sometimes get the feeling a Scorpio will stay in a bad relationship rather than being alone.

I would say a Scorpio man (or woman) could easily stay with someone they don’t love although I think you’ve got the motive wrong. Scorpio would stay for the resources the person provides be it money or some other form of energy.

Consider the Scorpios who lurk here. Is it because they love me?

There are a lot of passionate comments on the Scorpio freezing people out blog. It occurs to me if you’re boring, a Gemini will lose interest and they’ll be out of there. They’re not going to hang around with you when there are endless other options to explore.

I like Aquarians and they like me too, short term. I generally turn out to be waaaaaay to dense and intense for long term association and was dumped by many of them up  until I learned how important it is to give these people space.

Rox – I think it’s Pisces that absorbs energy. Scorpio exchanges energy which is a different phenomena. Scorpios have their own energy which they use to attract other people’s energy into their lives whether they are aware of this or not. I’ll explain the difference since I can access both scenarios. What do your know about consuming Scorpio energy?

Yes Scorpio gets along with Scorpio because they understand each other. But as far as romantic relationship, while I have read that Scorpio frequently partner with each other, I have not seen it. This is a gross generality but I think Scorpio is cagey enough that they are more comfortable in close relationship with a non-Scorpio

In my experience, the Scorpio wants to be the Scorpio. Basically, they want to be the one holding these specific power cards, so while there is a definite respect for other member of the same sign, there is a tendency to maintain some distance. It’s like a turf thing!

This is not to say two Scorpios cannot get together and last a lifetime.  I am sure there are plenty of examples out there but I have personally never seen a (long or longish term) Scorpio/Scorpio couple in my life and I think this is why.

Does a spider build a web to catch another spider? Er… no.
