Agreed. I don’t look ahead at the sky that much but I have been writing the astrology today posts this morning and not only is it tricky it is bound to get even trickier. And with Saturn where it is, it’s not like the usual tricks to escape are going to work so we are all having to show up.

I think the key to staying un-tricked is also found via Saturn… And Uranus which as the planets in opposition causing a lot of the stress.

I wrote several blogs over the weekend about the so-called freedom-loving progressives (Uranus) who actually try to oppress and control (Saturn) other people. You are going see a lot more of this as Saturn opposes Uranus (first exact aspect is on November 4th, 2008, election day).

Now I am going to hammer on this upcoming Saturn Uranus opposition the same way I did when Saturn opposed Neptune (Hall of Mirrors series). I feel ultra quipped because I grew up with two mega Aquarian parents (Uranus) but my double Capricorn grandfather (Saturn) lived 5 acres over and guess who went back and forth 10 times a day?

On the blog controversy, there is another analogy that comes to mind. I have been a Bob Dylan fan since I was 11 years old and there was a point in the late 70′s he started writing God music. Now I like God music and I liked Dylan’s God music but people went absolutely nuts. They had a way they liked to see Dylan and they did not appreciate his moving outside their paradigm one damned bit.

Dylan has a stellium in (mutable) Gemini and he is going to morph whether people like or not but maybe you can see the Saturn / Uranus energy here. Dylan was experimenting (Uranus) and the people rejected him (Saturn) in an attempt to control him (Saturn) and make him stop (Saturn) progressing (Uranus).

What’s curious is these same people if you asked them, would probably have told you they were progressive. Er… they liked his protest songs, see?

When Saturn opposes Neptune over the last two years, I wrote a zillion blogs – The Hall Of Mirrors series and I am sure I will do the same with this aspect as it is very personal to me.

By that I mean I understand it inordinately well because I grew up with two MEGA Aquarian parents (Uranus) with a double Capricorn (Saturn) grandfather living next door.  But what about the rest of you?

When you think of Saturn (authority) opposing Uranus (rebellion), what comes to mind? What kind of things do you expect to see? Notice the  first exact aspect in on the day of the US Presidential election.  How do you see this playing out?

Saturn will be opposing Uranus this year – astrologers will be talking. Here is a real life example of what you can expect to see.

This also illustrates how pointing fingers is pointless when dealing with an opposition whether it be in the sky, in your chart or something formed in synastry because the positions are always interchangeable as described in this case of the stupid woman vs the group.

Such a dilemma! I imagine it’s Saturn’s transit through Virgo (due to oppose Uranus) but in whatever case I am very aware I best take care what I say.

Now don’t go trying to fix me or tell me I’ve no need to censor myself because how would you know? Further, you won’t be suffering any of the consequences so it’s none of your business but here is the point of this blog, and my frustration.

I’ve got this Pluto Moon transit going and all kinds of things disturb me. For example, I mentioned last night the soldier and Vid and I rode our bikes / skateboard to the store but I did not mention we passed by the place where my daughter was hit by car on her bicycle last year.

My daughter actually hit the car not the other way around, as 4 witnesses stopped to testify to the 4 policemen on the scene. The whole thing was surreal… my daughter was shook but not injured and I was in fact liable for the damage to the gal’s car if you can get your head around that but anyway, I am also disturbed due my contrary opinion where I actually mean “opinions”.

Obvious rumblings Of Saturn Opposing Uranus here. This is my son with his protest sign (taped to the end of a baseball bat). He recruited my daughter and organized a revolt against my nixing the idea of him staying up until midnight, “because it’s a holiday”.

He comes out marching with his sign held high chanting, “Should We Be Allowed To Stay UP!”

My daughter followed behind, also marching to chant the response, “YES!”

“Should We Be Allowed To Stay UP!”

“YES!”

A sucker for innovators and creative types, I caved. Well, I compromised anyway, I have Libra and so does he.

Anyone else feel the rumblings of the coming rebellion?

I was coming back on a long road trip day today and thinking about that Saturn Uranus aspect that in my chart and in the sky at the moment, and I have write this now because I spy an opportunity for all.

With the Saturn Uranus aspect in my chart I am prone for good or ill, to suddenly (Uranus) break commitments (Saturn), throw off restrictions or break (my own) rules. In other words, the structure of my life can change very suddenly as is what I think is real.

So heading out on this trip I was chatting on the phone with a pal who is in a godforsaken situation with a couple of people in her life. And these two people are going to gang up on her for sure. There are two of them, one of her and they are going to be out talking about her.

“Not to be catty but there are some things I could say about them,” she said.

“I bet. But if you don’t want to be catty, then don’t be catty. It would be far more effective to say nothing than it would to explain anything to anyone and try to get them to choose sides. Um… that would be gross.”

“Hmm….”

“Yeah. You can just say, oh well those relationships have shifted and that’s it. You don’t need to offer any more information because it’s very personal and really no one’s business. And this would be classy, not catty. I say the less you say the better because people are going to figure it out and think what they want anyway. Everyone will know you are through with these people and they will make up the reason why they think that is.”

“That sounds like a good idea,” she said.

“Yeah, it works. And it does far more damage then if you go out there blabbing. The less you say the better and this way people also find out they can trust you. If you have a falling out with them, you are not going to hang their underwear out there.”

“Yep.”

“Yep. And since you don’t like catty anyway, you won’t be catty and as a matter of fact, you may as well decide right now to never do anything catty again in your life.”

And the point is I bet this gal never does! And how long did that take? Her whole structure of defense (Saturn) was revolutionized (Uranus) via a 2 minute conversation.

So there are opportunities like this out there right now, for everyone. You need only recognize them.
