1 Minute Astrology: Oppositions In The Natal Chart – A Visit To The Psychologist

January 24th, 2012 @ 2:43 pm by Elsa

Astrology in real life

eva posted to the boards about the veil dropping on her therapist. It make me think of this video when my son and I had a similar thing happen.

The video is oppositions in a natal chart, and polarizing view points. I see my sadness in it. Woah.

July 25, and 26, 2010. These are days to mark on your calendar as we have 3 events in the space of hours, each remarkable.

First we have a full Moon in Aquarius so you know the drill with that. The lights go on and with the opposition between Leo and Aquarius, we usually have have one person dramatically diagnosing the other with narcissism while oblivious to their own attention getting behavior.

I always enjoy days like this but this time there are other things going on that are troubling.

1 Minute Astrology: Libra Struggles In Strife-Filled Enviroment

May 7th, 2010 @ 11:32 am by Elsa

Astrology in real life

Throwback to the 60′s and 70′s… an appeal for manners and a standard of decorum on my blog.

moonThe Saturn / Jupiter Uranus opposition aspects my Moon and you can’t get more personal than that. I feel like I am going to my future, fast with the brake on and if there is a way to go through this without some raggedy edges, I can’t see it. The evidence of this is all over this blog.

I’m in contact with family (Moon) I’ve not seen since I was about 7 years old. I know better than to get attached as I caught a hard lesson when I got in touch my friend’s family some months ago when I was writing that story about my teenage years.

When Jupiter and Uranus are involved, you just can’t cling to people. You have to leave them free to come and/or go.  They usually go and all you can do is be glad for whatever gifts or pieces of the story they bestow on you.

Stress And The Saturn Uranus Opposition

April 23rd, 2010 @ 8:41 am by Elsa

Astrology in real life

saturn“I understand your life is both speeding up and held back at the same time and I know it is stressful but there is no way around this at this time…”

I wrote that for a double Virgo client and I am sure anyone with planets in the very late degrees of the mutable signs or early cardinal can relate. Jupiter and Uranus will take you to your future in seconds, while Saturn in Virgo says, “Not so fast there, sonny. You haven’t paid your dues. You haven’t dotted that i, or quite cleaned your plate yet…” It is maddening because you can see the horizon, it is right there…

Can you feel this? Tell us how you’re coping…

The Cardinal Grand Cross 2010 and “Sudden Death”

April 18th, 2010 @ 7:27 am by Elsa

Astrology in real life

We’ve been talking about Uranus heading into Aries here and there on the boards, in terms of violence, at least when I join the conversation. I was editing tonight’s forecast and the phrase “sudden death” came to mind.

I googled the phrase and pulled up it associated with heart attack and as the title of a movie but my personal assciation ties it to sport, (Wiki, sudden death – sport) where it describes a scenario in a game where the next point wins.

Saturn Opposite Uranus: Regarding The Polarization In Society Redux

April 12th, 2010 @ 10:13 am by Elsa

Astrology in real life

The Saturn opposition to Uranus is approximately 2 weeks from it’s exact aspect and is getting tighter every day. The people in this country are so polarized, I have only seen ONE person budge on their position over the last year or so.

I have pretty much accepted I going to be in almost total disagreement with half the people in my country for the foreseeable future which is inordinately upsetting to anyone who has Libra and I do. I have never been in such a situation in my life.

Revolutionizing Your Thought Processes To Avoid Drawing Stupid Conclusions

April 1st, 2010 @ 6:24 am by Elsa

Saturn Opposite Uranus… square Pluto

I have been working closely with a client over the last couple days. My husband got involved on the periphery which he does on rare occasion. In this case, the gal has Moon Neptune in Scorpio conjunct his Moon Neptune in Scorpio which is conjunct Venus and Mars in Scorpio in the man’s chart. There is a real synergy going on and I have served as conduit.

Beth writes on Alarming Lack Of Compassion… Endless Generosity:

“I’ve noticed this. Sort of an “if you aren’t on my approved list, you can get run over for all I care.”

I responded:

Agreed. And everyone goes in *someones” kill pile. Even the people who say they don’t have a kill pile. Ask a few pointed questions and they start spewing too.

A few days ago, I asked on the boards: How would you propose healing the divide in the United States. There were some interesting remarks but I think I asked the wrong the question.

Saturn and Uranus were opposed during the 2008 election. The country was divided at that time… it has been for awhile and if anything the two sides are more polarized than ever.

Saturn and Uranus will oppose again the last week of April, 2010 and again, July 2010 and I wonder if others are beginning to think as I am – that the two sides may never come together.

This would change our country dramatically as we are the “United States” so here is my new question:

Do you think our polarized society can bridge it’s differences and come together? If not, what consequences do you see?
