Mercury Retrograde, Grand Trine In Earth And Spiritual Difficulty Redux

March 16th, 2012 @ 7:06 am by Elsa

Astrology in real life.

I appreciate your comments on the Spiritual Difficulty post.  They made me feel less alone. I broke through last night, after an intense struggle over these last days. The only thing that seemed to help my angst was (physical) work and a lot of it. Saturn!

Once they dumped 11 tons of rock in front of my house and I moved it by myself, one shovelful at a time.  I loved that work. I absolutely loved it so when I got into trouble this week, I fell back on what I know calms and centers me – work!

Saturn Retrograde In My 9th House – Back To Court!

January 31st, 2011 @ 8:30 am by Elsa

Astrology in real life

wild cardCourts are 9th house-ruled and with Mars and Mercury in the 9th, I have been going to court since I was 17 years old, even though I’ve never been in trouble.  Three months ago, I hired an attorney to represent me;  this was the first time in my life I did not represent myself.  I think it was a good move but the benefit I gleaned did not last because now I am going to court again… or rather, I am going to court some more as I never really stop.

I wonder if I am ever going to avoid going to court. Many have told me over the years, I’d make a great attorney but I am not at all interested. I do like advising people who have attorneys though, the same way I like working with people who have therapists.

While I appreciate and value the necessity of the structure these other professions provide, they do not appeal to me, personally. I think this is because I am a wild card by nature and should be played as such.

What is (retrograde) Saturn sending you back to?

Fear And New Things To Be Horrified By

March 25th, 2010 @ 1:41 pm by Elsa

Astrology in real life

A few days ago I mentioned that which was my mortal fear of 6 years ago which became realized. I’ve changed dramatically since. I’ve matured more than anything else and I look at horror in a new way.

I longer think to think every bullet is going to whiz by me just because that’s the way I want it. I know one of those bullets may have my name on it and if so, that’s it. If you can lose your kid, you can lose your arm or your leg or your house or your life, see? This is an inarguable fact to person like me. What are you going to say? That can’t happen to you twice, Elsa? I’d have to laugh.

It seems I write less personal stuff on this blog all the time.  I rarely write about the soldier anymore except on the boards, things have just morphed in this direction. I think when I do write personal stuff people like it.  They pick stuff up, it makes astrology real and so forth so I am going to try to maintain this.

What About Your Deficit? A Personal (Or Universal) Story – You Tell Me

November 5th, 2009 @ 7:43 pm by Elsa

Astrology in real life

zodiacI am really not sure if this is personal or universal because there is no way for me to know.  Awhile back I said that I related to Jaycee Dugard and Elizabeth Fritzl and it put me in a firestorm.  But let’s just pretend I have cause and reason to relate to them and let’s just say one of them got to town when they were 15.  What would that be like?

Saturn Transit the 9th House: Learning Anything?

jupiter necklaceshell asks on the Decoy Catholic blog:

“Do you find that many people go through a tough life-altering experience during a Saturn transit in the 9th house? I was just wondering because it seems many people turn to religion most especially when things like death, divorce, sickness, etc. happen? Or is it a natural transition from the 8th house to the 9th?”

Well, with Saturn transiting the 9th house you have to get serious and learn something I would say. Something that enhances your perspective. It could be religion but it could also be go back to school in general or study Vedic astrology or whatever else you can think of.

Whatever it is to be in my case, I am sure it will be made abundantly clear to me and also that it will be in my best interest seeing as Saturn is my ruling planet. Which is a theory of my sister’s by the way… I’ll turn that into another blog.

Anyone have Saturn transiting their 9th house? If so, are you studying anything?
