Another example of an individual’s Saturn Return – my own. You have to face your fears rather than respond to other people’s fears. Place boundaries, take a long term view… and most importantly – Be true to yourself.

1 Minute Astrology – Demystifying The Saturn Return: Part One – Intro

October 6th, 2009 @ 6:39 am by Elsa

1 minute astrology

The Saturn return: What it is and what it ain’t. I filmed this series in 2008 to continue a discussion thread that started here: Reality does not create reality.

It’s a series of stories intended to dispel the fear people have as they approach their Saturn return as well illustrate the nuts and bolts and purpose of this time in your life. It is entertaining, not dour. Enjoy!

I wrote this in 2004. I am about 25 years old in the story and you can see how sophisticated I’ve  become. I am only 4% as rude as I used to be.

Eve was a cute little chick that worked in an independent convenience store, when I was a Frito Girl. Now I liked, Eve a lot! She had ATTITUDE which is uncommon in the small town where we lived. She had major personality. She was sort of “goth” long before that kind of thing existed and she was dating the Pepsi Man.

frito lay logoWhen I worked at Frito-Lay, I was the number one salesperson in the state. I was 25 at the time and I became aware of my position when headquarters decided send a weekly report to each salesperson, disclosing everyone’s sales. This was a new thing designed to foster competitiveness and increase the bottom line. Frito was constantly tinkering like this because there are major big bucks in potato chips and they were after every single one of them.

Astrology, Women and Their Energy – The Yin and the Yang and the Saturn Return

Astrology in real life

aquarius uranus symbolOnce upon a time I knew this gal. This as 15 years ago, she was an Aquarian with an Aries Moon. That’s really positive male energy and we had a Scorpio friend in common.

He introduced us. He brought her to me for a consultation because of my specific history. He thought I could give her an edge.

She was Saturn Return age (28-29 years old), at the time and she was starting a business. The Saturn return marks the time when the universe really pressures you to find your calling and define yourself as an adult. So this gal was right on schedule.

twin red-hearts.jpgThe soldier and I watched the war movie over the weekend, nothing like hearing the blow by blow from someone who was there. “What were you thinking here?” I could ask this kind of stuff and get an answer. Plus he’s so candid. He does not give me the pc version but the real version and by the time the movie ended I was somewhat stunned and I was very freakishly humbled.

Now this might sound like I am some sort of arrogant over-inflated freak but if it does, I don’t think you get my meaning. Of course that right there might serve as more evidence of my arrogance so some of you can see I am damned if I do, and damned if I don’t but I feel like doing… offering this, so I am going to.

chartDear Elsa,

What do you do when you feel completely stuck and can’t make a decision? I’ve recently found myself in a situation which is very open. I can do anything with my life right now provided I can find a way to support myself. Part of me wants to take a risk and make a big move to a place where I think I could be happy, but since there are no guarantees in life, I’m nervous to do so.

I could stay put and find work in the place where I grew up, but I don’t get the feeling that that would make me too happy. Either decision feels like it’s going to be rather permanent. I don’t want to box myself in, nor do I want to go out on a limb only to fail. So I guess the main question is, take a risk or not? Are there ways to tell in a chart better times to take risks and better
times to bide time?
