Saturn Return In Scorpio

November 17th, 2012 @ 5:56 am by Elsa

Tips from the goat.

Some perspective on one gal’s Saturn return in Scorpio:

“…Think about this is a big picture, a Saturn cycle – 29 years. One day you’ll look back at this time when you were lonely, and you’ll realize all that it taught you. You simply can’t grow and evolve without pain and lonely times. You are also on a process of defining your wishes, hopes and dreams and if you don’t like the current situation, what it tells you is that this ain’t it! You have to know that in order to switch gears, see? So you are on track here…”

Are you having your Saturn return? Can you see the big picture here?

What Happened During Your Saturn Return?

December 8th, 2011 @ 5:27 am by Elsa

Ask the collective

saturnOne of the regulars writes:

“I’d like to read about everyone’s Saturn Return experiences. I have a slight case of anxiety about mine coming up here pretty soon but I am ready. There are changes within myself I need to make and I hope my return will push me into it. Has anyone come out of it with a positive experience, or did it take years after to realize the affects it had? I’m hoping to come out with more confidence and faith in myself.”

What happened at your Saturn Return (roughly age 27.5 -30 for the newbies)?

Will the Relationship Last Through the Saturn Return?

Notes from the Transit Authority

In my last post about my Saturn Return, debdeb asked:

if you’re seeing someone who’s going through their SR, especially now as Saturn’s going retrograde, what can you expect? What should you to support him/her? Can you expect him/her to come out of the SR more confident [about your bond], or more clearsighted and perhaps more ready to go it alone?

Well, it all depends.

Getting Real with My Saturn Return

April 13th, 2011 @ 1:21 am by Nota

Notes from the Transit Authority

I have observed something recently (and by recently I mean over the past few months.)

I’ve been writing about my Saturn Return. Not just in my last piece here but I’ve mentioned it off and on for a while now. I have used the phrase “things are getting real.”

And each time it elicits what I consider an odd response.

Progressed Moon in Scorpio – Reproduction and Transformation

March 1st, 2011 @ 7:10 am by Nota

Planets in Placements

I was 27. My progressed moon had just entered Scorpio conjunct my natal moon. Yes, the return of the progressed moon to the natal position, also known as the precursor to the Saturn return.

I had to cancel a party due to strange circumstances and I took it as some sort of sign that a shift had occurred. The universe didn’t want me to have that party. Things like that were very potent at the time. I needed to be alone.

I started sneaking into an apartment pool down the street and swimming laps in the afternoons before work. I went on long solo bike rides seeking meaning in the scenery. I thought about sex constantly.

Love, Parents And The Saturn Return

Astrology in real life

Caroline started a thread on the boards, Men and Their Relationships With Their Mothers

I responded:

“I wouldn’t go near a man who dogged his mother. Even if she is a first rate nut job, he still better show some deference and respect otherwise – out the door!

That said, a man enmeshed with his mother is out the door even faster.

Best is a man who accepts him mom with her faults, which he can see.  I was told many years ago,  they’ll treat you exactly as they do their mother and I’ve found this to be very true.”

Notes from Saturn’s Return: Getting What I Deserve

As soon as I found out that I was having a baby I began engaging in the neurotic activity of looking at possible charts trying to guess which one would be hers.  I found myself having thoughts of an offbeat sentimentality such as “Oh look, my dad has that aspect” or “Leo mars sure does run in the family.”  I am also ashamed to say I have had several butt clenched moments of “ooooo, please don’t be born that day, please don’t be born that day.”   And yes today (and tomorrow and half of the next day) is one of those days.
