Introduction (And A Look Back) At Saturn In Scorpio
Astrology in real life.
I’ve got quite a bit of Capricorn in my chart. Consequently there has always a lot of focus on Saturn on this blog. Slews of posts about Saturn in Libra. Slew of posts about Saturn in Virgo. I expect to do the same with Saturn in Scorpio and I am starting to think about this now.
Saturn in Scorpio will be in mutual reception to Pluto in Capricorn during this transit. This has got to be a real boon to anyone willing to work (Saturn) with dark energy (Scorpio), or anyone who wants to come to terms with their shadow and deal with reality, even it’s putrid.

Joaquin Phoenix – Person Of Interest As Saturn Enters Scorpio
Astrology in real life
Joaquin Phoenix is undeniably magnetic. With a stellium in Scorpio conjunct planets (including Pluto) in the late degrees of Libra, he is one to watch over the next 12 months, as Saturn leaves Libra for Scorpio, conjuncting his Sun, Mercury, Venus, Mars and Uranus in the process.

I was talking to my life long friend, Ben, last night. He’s Scorpio. He said he felt it was important you see yourself age in small ways because if it hits you all at once, it’s devastating. I heartily agree and was thinking about this before we talked.
There’s is a point that everyone comes to when the veil drops and they see that whatever it was they had five or ten years prior, it is no longer theirs. It may be breasts that don’t sag or man might wake up one day, to the fact his is no longer a young stud.

Saturn In Scorpio: The Saturn Return Of AIDS
Astrology in real life
I met my friend, Ben, just as AIDS emerged. Saturn was in Scorpio then and I worked in a restaurant that employed three waitresses and seventeen gay waiters. I was one of the waitresses, Ben was one of the waiters so this is the Saturn return of our friendship as well a friendship we’ve sustained all these years.
I was immersed in AIDS because where I worked. We all talked about it non-stop back then…we joked, actually because in the beginning no one knew how bad it was going to get. It got bad quickly, but I’m just saying, I was there and initially there were a lot of jokes which turned out not to be so funny when people starting dying in droves.
I will be tracking this transit closely as I track all Saturn transits closely but I wonder what people think of this.
Predictions for Saturn in Scorpio, anyone?
Astrology and Bigotry: Dreams, Nightmares and Saturn in the 12th House
My fiance in this story, the man with the nightmares has Saturn in Scorpio in the 12th house (dreams) square Pluto in Leo.
I am talking to the soldier about this in 2003, ten years after the fact. We both have emphasis on the 8th house (death):
“So anyway, he would wake up with these nightmares and I would wake up with him. And he would relay the dream and I would see the thing visually and feel it. A helicopter going down… swirling. Your stomach.” Continue reading Astrology and Bigotry: Dreams, Nightmares and Saturn in the 12th House
