Psychodrama

September 12th, 2011 @ 7:37 am by Elsa

Astrology in real life.

It seems I’ve developed an extreme distaste for psychodrama. Yours, mine, his or hers, it doesn’t matter. I’ve lost patience with triggered people, myself included, who want have extreme reactions or freak-outs over inconsequential things.

I think the shift correlates with Pluto’s transit through my 12th house.  This transit has increased my sensitivity and made me more compassionate. The more time I spent communing with people who have real problems, the less patience I have for people who create problems. If you’re out there making problems for yourself or others; if you can’t control yourself socially (Saturn in Libra), I want to distance myself as fast as I can to avoid the energy drain.

“I love all my kids the same.” Most mothers say that perhaps it’s true though from a certain angle. But from other angles it hard to substantiate and in some cases it’s flat out obvious a mother prefers one child over the other.

As for the way I titled this post, I think it is possible for a mother to love a child but just not like them all that much and reasons are endless.

There may be a personality conflict. The kid just may rub the mother the wrong way. The mother may need a scapegoat or someone to carry her shadow. The kid may look (or act) like the father who the mother has come to loathe, etc.

pecan-pie-pm-000024-1.jpgI wrote this in 2008 as Pluto was going into Capricorn. I think it’s played out and Pluto won’t leave Capricorn until the end of 2024.

donederin asked on Thriving With Pluto In Capricorn regarding the transition from Pluto in Sagittarius to Capricorn:

So, does anybody have any concrete ideas about how they plan to accept and move forward? I’d love to hear.

Pluto In Capricorn: Collapse Of Ambition, Death Of The Backbone, Etc.

July 30th, 2011 @ 2:59 pm by Elsa

Astrology in real life.

This is another post on parenting. It may be provocative, I don’t know. It may be asinine for all I know but to me it’s a mind-bender so I thought I would throw it out here.

You may or may not know that satori is an expert on narcissism. I am not. But I listen carefully when she talks about this and some years ago she mentioned a game that people play, “How little will you take?”

Astrology in real life.

I would like to feel better today then I do. I’m the kind of person who will act on something like this. I have no problem doing something to make myself feel better and I don’t lack ideas however I do feel blocked.

Pluto In Capricorn – Excavating The Family

April 14th, 2011 @ 5:32 pm by Elsa

Astrology in real life.

It’s been awhile but when Pluto first headed into Capricorn, I was talking about this in terms of a natural chart. Astrologese aside, I see Pluto’s transit through Capricorn as a Pluto transit to the Moon transit for the entire collective.  Basically we’re going to dig up our roots this decade, for good or ill but eventually for our own empowerment.

The sky is harsh out there, it can’t be denied. We all see the situation in Japan and are reminded just how fragile life is. Jupiter opposing Saturn caused many to begin to restructure and/or reform their beliefs.

I’ve been talking about “cracks in the foundation” for a couple of years now, it’s a phenomena associated with Pluto in Capricorn. I want to broach something that relates to that but it is more complex and involved. I am driven to this because this theme keeps cropping up in my life and even more so in the lives of the people around me be them family, friends or clients. That is the veil is lifting and people are realizing the problems they have are not going to be easy to resolve.

Murder-Suicide As An Exit Strategy

March 18th, 2011 @ 6:02 am by Elsa

Astrology in real life

Most of you know I don’t watch TV but lately I’ve begun to. I feel like I have to put a disclaimer up when I mention this because I haven’t watched TV for 20 years so I don’t want to misrepresent myself as someone who is aware of trends in programming.

Last night I watched an episode of “Snapped” about a woman who murdered her fiance in 1995 in what many would call a crime of passion.  I was thinking about how things have changed.  These days people plan to murder others if and when certain conditions are met.  They have an exit strategy and harming others is part of it.

Pluto in Capricorn As It Relates To The Pluto In Virgo Generation

February 2nd, 2011 @ 9:35 am by Elsa

Astrology in real life

As Venus heads towards conjunction withe Pluto in Capricorn next week (see the transit watch), I have been very aware of increased access to my my own depth.  I have Pluto in Virgo along with most born between 1958-1972 and I realize that the Pluto transit to natal Pluto offers unprecedented access to my own depth and psychology. With Pluto is trining Pluto, I also notice there is little, or even no downside to this.
