A lot of what I take on, I’d be thinking twice if I’d known going in exactly how much energy would be required. I have cussed myself plenty for over-extending, but in some ways, I suspect these tendency serves, too. I’m not afraid of big jobs, extended projects or ambitious goals. I trust my gut. A Mars-Saturn trine gives me staying power, even with initial leaps taken on impulse. I get at least as much from the failures as I do from the successes.

You’re strong but worn down, waiting for the next shoe to drop and you really could use a nap. That’s what we’re talking about today.

Today is my 21st wedding anniversary. That is one heck of a long time to be married to someone. I marvel how we managed it, to be honest. I mean, we were kids for goodness sakes. Clueless and overwhelmed managing our responsibilities, but well intentioned. Finding one another, having the sense to hook up despite advice we heard to the contrary—how did that happen? Somehow, it did, and we weathered all the storms and stresses over the years, growing love in the process.  I’m wondering what’s next.
